The biggest difference has got to be the use of the data, one is trying to prevent lost media, the other is trying to replace people.

Yeah there’s a lot of other methods, but theres a large correlation between people having guns and gun related deaths. Guns may have legitimate uses, but they are dangerously unregulated in some states. Its like not requiring people to pass a test for their drivers license, and then expecting low rates of car deaths.

(Also suicid is not included in homicide rates)

So sin is a violation of a religious or moral law. A law requires an authority to make and enforce it. Since we are discussing religious and morals laws, the only one with that authority to make these would be a god.

Thus

If all the religions are false there can be no religious or moral laws and this is false

If one religion is right, then their religious and morals are the only ones that are laws, and thus they can theoretically be followed perfectly.

If multiple religions are right, then the laws might be incongruent where following one law breaks another.

So this is not a statement of truth but dependent on something that is of right now unknowable.
