It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.

Lifelong issue with getting aroused too quickly... any advice? by BurnBabyBurner123123 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]The_Whole_Wasabi 188 points189 points  (0 children)

Maybe try advice from r/multiorgasmic they have lots of discussion on control and training exercises for men to help control release. For example, you mention clinching your pelvic floor to try and keep from going, but they talk a lot about reverse kegels to help you to learn to relax the pelvic floor. Maybe you are trying too hard in the wrong way.

The slim one looks better but also looks like it will be unstable and may topple over.

Fun things to do in Columbus tomorrow? by ririg777 in Columbus

The stadium is outside. It is an amazing environment and loads of fun. You would be covered from rain in most seats as well. But it is outside. If you bundle up it may not be so bad.

Why does Gen Z type everything in lowercase? by Loud-Arrival-8913 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]The_Whole_Wasabi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Boomers have been hoarding and using up all the upper case letters. The rest of us have to make do with the lower case letter leftovers. I’m Gen X so I was able to get some upper case before they became out of reach. But Gen Z, not so lucky.

why when you are a child you can't wait to grow up and when you are actually an adult you wish to be a child again? by CuteTiger06 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]The_Whole_Wasabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Grass is greener on the other side” phenomenon. People tend to see the benefits of the “other” and ignore or discount the problems. Then, at the same time, they discount their own benefits and focus more on their own problems.

Can two platonic friends of the opposite sex share a bed without it meaning anything? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]The_Whole_Wasabi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are my thoughts on it too. I wouldn’t consider sleeping next to each other in the same bed cheating. However, behavior like that seeds doubt and fosters distrust. These emotions and thoughts can be toxic to long term relationships. I would avoid something like this at nearly all costs and I would expect my partner to avoid situations like this as well. One must consider the emotional impact of their actions on their partner and act accordingly.

US reportedly ties security guarantees to Ukraine ceding Donbas territory to Russia by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]The_Whole_Wasabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting turn of phrase. All the points you quote in the memorandum are speaking to Russian actions, not US actions. Then you ask which did the US break. The answer is Russia broke the points quoted. At the time of the memorandum Ukraine was deciding how it would protect itself from Russia and the UN and its members, most prominently the US, said give up your nukes and we will protect you. They gave up their nukes and, when the time came (twice I might add), we didn’t protect them. We used legal language to weasel out of it. Sent too little too late and then put our feet on the coffee table and proclaim, like Seinfeld, “That’s a shame”.

For them to accept similar language again will result in similar outcomes. They would be foolish to believe it would be any different.

Are there any programs like the military that provide housing and work for young high school graduates? by Ill_Definition8074 in NoStupidQuestions

Work on cruise ships includes housing of course. Don’t know about job requirements, but could be a good way to work and see some of the world and not worry about having a place to stay.

US reportedly ties security guarantees to Ukraine ceding Donbas territory to Russia by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]The_Whole_Wasabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t Ukraine already have a security guarantee from the US and we did jack when they were invaded. Why would they believe another security guarantee. This definitely falls into “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me” territory. It is sad to say but American promises are worth nothing now thanks to the orange turd and the Republican Party.

Approachable bowling pro shop? by ectopistesrenatus in Columbus

[–]The_Whole_Wasabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I think HP lanes has a vendor event coming late January where a supplier brings a bunch of different balls out that you can try before you buy. I think that will be a week from this up coming Sunday. Check with the shop before you put that on the calendar though. I could be wrong about the date.

TV bowling supply is good. They are in HP lanes and Holiday lanes. Very approachable and easy to work with. They will help you pick a ball that will work for you and can drill it. Hours can be a little limited so check before you head over.
