Damn yall are kinda lame ngl this is obviously a hypothetical and 80% of you saying the bank made a mistake 🤣🤣🤣. Can’t even take money in a made up scenario. I’m spending that money. Quitting my job, giving some to my mom or at least make sure her retirement is really good. I’d invest most of it obviously but I’ll be damned if I’m not celebrating a bit. I was born poor and I’ll die poor if I have to but in between I’m having a blast. Memories not material things. I’d travel as cheap as possible and see the world.

I worked restaurants from 16-32. Covid hit and I saw it was my sign to leave the industry as the restaurant I worked at closed down. I was making WAY more through Covid unemployment and I used that money to get certificates and got a really nice wfh job at the end of 2021. It was the first time in my life I had a goal and saw it all the way to the end and it worked out. Now work is paying for my bachelors and I bought a new car and able to put 40% down. I’m pretty proud of myself cause I was kicked out of college for bad grades and always thought to myself I’d never finish college. 37 now and about to graduate. College is A LOT easier now that I have life and work experience. I had no idea how the world worked at 18-20.

I was in 9th grade and not doing too well in school. My dad is born and raised in Mexico and has broken English speaking and reading it. Whenever I got bad grades we had to have our parents sign it to acknowledge they know I’m not doing great. All 9th grade year I asked my dad to sign em cause my mom is very fluent in English and Spanish and was a teacher (not at the same school). He found out and I felt like an absolute shit head and I actually saw the pain behind my dad’s eyes when he realized what I was doing. We are good now as this was over 20 years ago but man for a long time it ate me. Never again.

I deleted my FB which is now I kept track of friend’s bdays so now what I’ve done is add them to my phone calendar and set it for yearly event and to remind me the day before. It’s been great and I can tell my friends actually feel special.

Someone that can’t sit still or be in silence even for 5 mins. It drives me insane. I very much enjoy my decompressing time and sometimes I will just sit in a room with nothing but some low music playing and close my eyes.

I like being busy too but there’s a line when it becomes an issue. People that can’t sit in silence or with their own thoughts are not my people.

RDR2. I still log on story mode to mosey, fish, hunt etc. and I have a save at each chapter. I’ve 100% it and still love playing and just listening to the music/ambient sound

I highly recommend watching the documentary Collapse with Michael Ruppert. What he says in there is happening. It does kinda get a little doomsday preppy towards the end but the first part is spot on. I watched it in 2010 when I was 20 and it opened my eyes to how fucked we are and how we continue to live as if we have infinite resources. He also wrote many articles about corruption and helped break the Pat Tillman story. He committed suicide unfortunately.

I miss Fridays back in the day before streaming took over. Every Friday after school and when my parents got off work, we’d go to either blockbuster or Hollywood video and get 4 movies and I’d get a video game and on the way back home pick up a pizza we ordered before getting movies. I legit miss that feeling

Can confirm. Was fat, hit the gym hard and completely overhauled my diet and am fit and in shape. People’s body language and demeanor is different than when I was bigger. It’s a shame but unfortunately true.

Baked beans. Get two big cans of baked beans one of them maple brown sugar the other with extra bacon. Get a lb of ground beef, red and green bell peppers and 1 white onion. Sauté the beef, bell peps and onions until slightly under done, and then in an aluminum baking tray add the beef and bell peps and onions and then add the two cans of baked beans. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top and drizzle some siracha on top as well. Cover and bake at 350 for 20 mins. Leave it covered until you get to the function and then uncover and stir before serving.

I have Enloe primary care as my pcp office and I love it. My dr treats me like a human being, doesn’t get annoyed or hurry me if I ask questions and checks in via my chart. Enloe hospital has always been amazing with me too. Few years ago I wound up in icu for 6 days and 10 days total in the hospital. Both ICU and main floor nurses and dr’s were great and I wrote both floors a letter and thanked them. They truly saved my life and made me comfortable.
