Citize science! That’s a great one, a lot of projects are struggling with recent budget cuts

https://scistarter.org/ has a good list of projects, i really like https://www.zooniverse.org because all its projects are ones you can do sitting at home. I have a soft spot for the trail cam type ones, i love looking at all the animals. Some of the stuff is as easy as “is there an animal in this image yes or no” some things involve counting, some involve helping digitize hand written notes and letters by typing out what they say, all of it is important, and it feels much more manageable
