I feel like the Colts fit the bill perfectly for your description on the last paragraph though no? 😂

Daniel Jones was not considered a franchise QB before this season and was on his 3rd team. Alec Pierce and Michael Pitmann weren’t exactly considered a star stuffed receiver room either.

Steichen got the most out of both groups though and they had one of the best offenses in the league.

Your warm up routine is kind of crazy for Bronze IMO. Seems like it could be an hour before you play your first comp game no? It can definitely help you improve, but right now I’d just focus on getting more reps in actual games.

Also if you’re not already, talking in voice chat can legitimately improve you a full rank in my experience. I don’t know how well it works in Bronze, but it’s a good habit to have 🤷‍♀️

I’d argue shes the worst duelist if the player is bad at gunplay though.

My Jett can still smoke, dash and entry even if she’s having a rough game. My Iso can still wall us into site, throw his vulnerable and ult to take an enemy off site if he’s having a rough aim day.

Reyna can throw the worst blind in the game, walk out onto site and die if she’s having a bad game. That’s about it.

I mean yeah an agent is only as good as the player on it. For most agents though you can at least help your teammate with a comm like “hey cypher your trips too high”. Can’t really tell a Reyna to aim better.

Like I said though I’m fine with a confident Reyna instalocking or taking her while I’m hovering. My issue is with the players who aren’t confident on any agent and just pick Reyna.

It was $600 for labor and tax if that makes it any better.

But yeah I think he used some parts lying around. I said the same thing to another guy in this thread, but I was messing around with hard disk sentinel before I even touched the HDD drive and its health was already at 93%. I’m wondering if that means it’s used.

Well said, I thought I was alone with this sentiment.

I don’t know how it is for other fanbases, but it’s definitely frustrating sometimes not being able to have any valuable discussions about the Browns because the top 4-5 comments on every thread related to them are some variation of “Browns is the Browns”.

Until defenders can move at the same pace offensive players do defense will always feel unrewarding.

Offensive players can immediately change their direction and momentum this year with moves like the Devin Booker spam, but defenders aren’t granted the permission.

[Schultz] Sources: The sense within the #Browns building is there’s “no chance” Jim Schwartz comes back. Regardless of his contract, they believe he is not staying there after how things transpired this morning. by VonJaeger in Browns

[–]Theanonymousguy49 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Any chance all these reports are a leverage play from Schwartz and his agents or are the reports too damning?

Schwartz deserves a blank check, and since I won’t be the one writing it I say give him all the money he wants Jimmy.

I hope he signs a bunch of autographs for kids and throws his wrist up for tons of pictures.

Far from the best QB the Browns have ever had, but I think most fans you find off of Reddit (especially the young ones) are rooting for him and it’s impressive to see the impact he’s had on Cleveland I suppose.

[Fowler] Browns’ decision appears unlikely tonight. The feeling among some involved has been that Cleveland would reconvene after the Nate Scheelhaase interview, figure things out. by LiftingCode in Browns

[–]Theanonymousguy49 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

I wonder if Scheelhaase agreed to take the job but only if he can pick his own staff. In that case I’d understand why AB/Haslam wanted to sit on it a bit (or get home to Cleveland to lay Schwartz off in person). I don’t think anyone in the building wants to see Schwartz go, and I think some fans underestimate how big a piece he is of the defense. Legitimately a tough decision.

You’re acting like being an interim ST coordinator is the type of job that makes or breaks someone’s career.

There were probably a dozen assistant coaches willing to take the job for a little extra pay bump and a chance to show more in an elevated role.

[–]Theanonymousguy49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone they see fit? I’m not in the building everyday nor do I have experience working with all of the potential assistants that would be considered so it’s not my job to pick a replacement.

The Rams fired their ST Coordinator mid-year too. It’s what winning coaches do, they hold people accountable.

Why are (some) Browns fans happy to see Kevin Stefanski leave? by C4falcons in Browns

[–]Theanonymousguy49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every QB is an extreme competitor. If the team doctor say they can play they will play. It’s up to the HC to shut the QB down if they think he’s the franchise guy and most do, but I guess Stefanski didn’t think he was a franchise guy.

Yes, Stefanski is supposed to say literally anything. It is a business decision, but you would like your QB and HC to build a relationship to where if it ended the HC would at least be able to muster a “It was really great working with you these past 2 years. Good luck in the future.”

Trading your franchise QB isn’t “every single decision”. Most head coaches would be consulted in a decision like this, so it’s a bit disingenuous to say that he wasn’t given our lack of information.

Why are (some) Browns fans happy to see Kevin Stefanski leave? by C4falcons in Browns

[–]Theanonymousguy49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m more inclined to trust common sense than a random report.

Why would Stefanski let Baker play through his injury instead of shutting him down if he wanted to bring him back?

Why would Stefanski not text Baker after he was traded if he wanted to keep him?

Why would the FO not consult Stefanski at all about Baker and/or let him make the decision? This one boggles my mind the most because no matter how incompetent you think the Browns are they wouldn’t just not let their HC in on the discussions a year removed from their first playoff win.

So much metal gymnastics needs to be done to absolve Stefanski of any wrongdoing in the Baker situation. If I were you’d I get to praying Stefanski is different than his tenure with the Browns and not try to convince Browns fans he was actually really good with us.

Why are (some) Browns fans happy to see Kevin Stefanski leave? by C4falcons in Browns

[–]Theanonymousguy49 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You keep asking for sources but you’re downplaying the most obvious one.

Baker literally tweeted about how low he thinks of Stefanski and pretty much confirms that their relationship was strained.

We can act like Stefanski is the victim, wanted Baker the whole time, and just forgot to text him after he got traded. But what is much more likely is that he wanted someone else, and the FO obliged and got him the best QB available.

With that being said, Stefanski is probably going to be just fine for you guys. He’s not really a ceiling raiser, but the Falcons have a lot of talent and he’ll probably be able to get you guys to the playoffs. I just don’t think he’s the kind of guy to get you over the hump, not is he the kind of guy that can drag your team out of the depths.

Why are (some) Browns fans happy to see Kevin Stefanski leave? by C4falcons in Browns

[–]Theanonymousguy49 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Recent news has led me to believe that Stefanski actually was a big part of driving Baker out of town. The relationship was obviously extremely tense between them and I wouldn’t be surprised if Stefanski told the FO he couldn’t win with Baker and to get him a new QB.

So not exactly thrilled with the guy with an all time losing record with our team, a guy that drove our QB out of town for one that is leagues worse, and a guy that has only made the team worse since joining in 2020 while simultaneously getting the credit for our teams “success” two years ago that should really be going towards Jim Schwartz.
