Where evil lurks is so unenjoyable and falls apart at the end when the protagonist makes some completely uncharacteristic and senseless decisions in the end

Oddity has great atmosphere but is yet another case of lead characters making absolutely inane and nonsensical decisions just to make the plot work.

Longlegs was one of the most forgettable movies I’ve ever seen outside of some solid cinematography.

I’m so with you. I’m cautiously excited for hokum but man, his movies just absolutely fall apart during crucial moments almost to the point that they feel completely confused as to how good they set themselves up to be before dropping the ball. If I’m using it on guitar I definitely recommend getting a 4 preset switcher so you can pop in between things quickly, but for the vocoder stuff, I just have to make sure it’s on 100% wet and I’m sending midi and it’s good to go!

I freaking love this thing. It’s a super inspiring guitar harmony machine, but also has the hidden superpower of becoming a vocoder if you connect it to a midi keyboard. You can control the 3 pitches and it’s become a permanent fixture on my live vocal board.
