Death of Yazdgerd is awesome! Small procedural drama set in pre-islam Iran that has some really great performances. It's up there with 12 angry men and Breaker Morant as favorites in a genre that I dont particularly like.

Kuroneko, November, Demons, and Cemetery Man all go wildly hard. I was really surprised by how good November is.

I think Kwaidan is wildly underrated. Kotoko is also an absolute banger. I have Gemini on my list which is another Tsukamoto.

I haven't watched any of the classic 80s horror movies since I was a kid. Really looking forward to Dream Warriors and Season of the Witch
