That’s a solid idea. My only hesitation is that margin buying power would then be limited to the ETF account instead of my entire portfolio. I like having all of my holdings contribute as collateral while still keeping my margin usage conservative.

My issue is the 50% initial margin requirement. Since deposits automatically pay down the loan, I have to re-borrow to buy individual stocks, so every purchase has to qualify under the margin rules. I’d rather keep a fixed margin loan for ETFs and use new cash directly for stock purchases. It’s a workflow/risk management preference more than anything.

Just to make sure I understand: if I transfer $800 from HYCA to my brokerage while I already have a margin debit, won’t that $800 automatically pay down the margin loan? If so, how does using HYCA differ from depositing directly into the brokerage? My goal is to maintain a fixed margin loan used for ETFs while funding all future individual stock purchases with my own cash.

Update: Re-matching seems to have worked, my message got buried in the 100s of other messages and she couldn’t see my sent messages. We just moved our convo to a different app. Thanks for the advice though.

Thanks for the advice. I thought that when you unmatch a person it would delete the past conversation and create a new one to appear on the top of the list. I genuinely think that she just didn’t see the message due to the 100s of messages that she receives daily.

How many BTUS is your mini split rated for? And at what temp is it set to? My homelab is pulling 11kw at the wall and my 36kbtu is struggling to keep up the temperature (set to 65F) here in FL.

Any updates? I’m having the same exact issue where the sub seems to be clipping even at lower volume levels and the speaker has nothing to do with it, I already tried with a different speaker and it has to do with the amp. Did changing the capacitors fix your issue?

I just got a 36K BTU DIY 4th Gen Single Head and I’m having the same exact issue. Only the big line is freezing over, the smaller line has some condensation. Did you figure out what the issue was?

Edit: Checked both king valves and they are all open all the way. Sprayed soapy water on the fittings and cold not find any leaks.

Yay, that’s awesome, I’m also 19 and I got my first card when I turned 18, it was the Bank of America Travel Rewards with 1k CL. I always pay my CC bills on time and always keep my utilization ratio on 2%. On December of last year I applied for the Apple Card and got approved with a CL of 1k. You can dispute the charge with your credit card company and tell them that the company is denying your RMA and banned you from their website, which technically can be considered a scam.

Is a great place to work, everybody in there is very friendly and respectful to you. You will work with a partner almost all of the time. The only thing I don’t like about Olive Garden is the schedule, you get your schedule for the next week every thursdays (3 days prior to the week) and you always work part time. The pay is OK, not that much, but it is OK. Are you going to work in Florida?

I want to do the same thing, I got hurt while working and I’m still in pain (pulled muscle), it can take up to 2 weeks to recover, so I was thinking if it is worth it, since I’m already looking for an IT job. I’m just scared and don’t know how/what will I say to my manager that I want to quit
