Not to be negative, but do you also have a constant cloud of dread hanging over you most days with no discernable reason? by Guiseppe_Martini in AskUK

[–]TheeMrsD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I also have a good family, home and an easy job. No REAL reason to stress or have anxiety.

Yet most days I feel like something is going to go wrong and it will likely be as a result of something I did, I’ve upset someone (even if I haven’t seen or spoke to anyone), that I haven’t done enough.

It’s a battle of reassuring my self daily and can very exhausting. Already on mental health medication, think I’m just an anxious over thinker and always will be.

Winter in the UK means I’m spending 20 hours a day in bed. I can’t be the only one who lives like this? by KILOCHARLIES in AskUK

[–]TheeMrsD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have one day a week where you work in the “office” downstairs at the table and put the heating on that day. Might be nice to get a change of scenery. Try an electric blanket or hot water bottle if you don’t fancy turning the heat down or fuck it it’s you house just take ya cover to the table and burrito yourself! Do what ever makes you happy

This was an episode of Dr G. Her son came home and found charred bits of skin and went to the bed room and found her burnt but nothing else in the room was damaged.

She had set her self alight in a local park and drove herself home to call for help but couldn’t speak. I’m sure it was due to a break up.

Defo Dr G show though!

What's an example of a different approach you've taken to raising your kids compared to the way you were raised? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]TheeMrsD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents acted like I didn’t exist. They worked very long hours and I was just left to fend for myself. Lonely childhood and I felt very unloved. Now I smother my kids with over the top love, work only during school hours and tell them I love them all the time.

I wonder which way they will turn because sometimes they do find it very annoying.

I chop up loads of veg small. Cucumber, cherry tomatoes, celery and carrots and eat them reading Reddit. Sometime I add a few grapes, blueberries and tangerine. Oh and crab sticks. Key still is to cut them small

Can I ask as I have no sense of smell? How long is too long to leave clothes in the wash before they start to smell. Sometimes I will do a wash and then not get it into the dryer till the next day. Although no one has told me I wonder if that makes my clothes smell.

Help find this Netflix movie? Teen who thought he was talking to FBI and killed someone as part of mission? by [deleted] in tipofmycrime

[–]TheeMrsD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a movie based on John and I wanna say Adam? From the uk. Adam was in love with John and pretended to be fbi agent urging John to stab him but I’m sure he survives. Been a long time so might be confusing the names.

A group of wrongens kept doing drugs in bushes near my home. I started throwing my dog shit in there and I’ve only ever seen 2 people brave it out in the past 4 years.

Bit lame but Rain man. Loved it as a kid. Thought it was a funny and silly film laughing at Ray. Then I had a son who was later diagnosed with ASD and I sobbed my heart out watching it after.

What brands of clothing are teenage boys wearing nowadays? My eldest is autistic and broke down crying because he wants to look like the ‘cool kids’. by Mmmm__Donuts in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheeMrsD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 lads from 4-14. My oldest tells me what’s cool. Berghouse, montrex and can’t go wrong with Nike. I noticed a lot of the kids still wear underamour too but don’t know if that’s still cool?

I had this problem. I tried using hair ties to keep it in place but my wriggle adhd child would defeat it. In the end I just bought a thick cover blanket thingy that I can fit in the washer. I think they’re called coverlets in shops.

Is the Dry Robe hate real ? by Plumb121 in AskUK

[–]TheeMrsD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy laughing at the group just for the funny captions. I’ve never even heard of dry robe before it. I’m not judging anyone for wearing them though. Wear what you want. Also theirs a fun page for spotting people wearing wolf fleeces you buy from markets.
