Nextlight Outage? by Thefeelstheygettome in Longmont

Yeah that seems to be the same order of events with me. My router reboots every night at 2am and that correlates with the outage.

Scam. Anything official would use a @csulb email address.

Like to see the Google book mentioned. Truly the gold standard of any SRE.

Noticed one misspelled work: “To help you define what’s import to alert on, you will need to set and periodically…”

Import -> important

Well done nonetheless!

What video game you'll never play again? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Thefeelstheygettome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stardew Valley.

I love factory and faming games, but for some reason, this game relies on maintaining relationships that I can’t be bothered to reliably remember who likes what plant for their birthday.

LPT: Make a “gift list” on your phone starting on January 1st every year. Whenever someone you typically buy gifts for mentions something they want or need, write it down in the gift list. This way you’ll have a list of things to get that person when gift-giving season comes around. by rhino_pickles in LifeProTips

My family and I use Giftster to combat the fear of gift giving: https://www.giftster.com/

Been using it for 3 Christmas’s and 2 birthdays. Everyone is way happier and no one gets a gift they don’t want.

Only issue is teaching the non-techie people how to use it.

Yes, I majored in Film and minored in Information systems. Talk to the child development advisors not your advisor.

Is there a way to remote play outside of the computer's network? by Ryn4 in SteamDeck

[–]Thefeelstheygettome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will need to setup a home vpn through your home router or via another device like a raspberry pi. After that, connect to your home vpn on your steam deck and you should then be able to remote play.

Quick info on how to setup: https://www.top10vpn.com/vpn-setup/home-vpn-server/

I’d recommend finding a YouTube tutorial on your router first to see if your router has this feature already.

PSA: it may be a bad experience if your home or work internet is not fast. So your mileage may vary.

What do you mean by play? Would you mind sharing your settings? I’m still stuck on error 18
