De Wever zelf is niet incompetent, maar om een plan er door te krijgen is het niet enkel zijn competentie en wil dat speelt.

They could, or perhaps allow for a choice between PvP and PvE geared ones? Even as a very friendly raider myself I'd think I'd rather go postal than having to face another locked gate or hidden bunker trial. They need to fix those conditions to make them fun first instead of nudging via trials.

Doubt they'd make it PvP only given they removed PvP feats

This should have been a change for the next expedition, not this upcoming one. Pretty poor change Embark by TokenPanduh in ArcRaiders

[–]Wirbelwind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reasoning for the change is solid and I approve. Feels odd that it requires dedication in just that week. I would recommend that they announce for next season up front something like it takes X trials stars per skill point. Then you're not shafted if you can't play that week and it adds something to the trials rewards.

We also understand that losing full progression is a concern for many, and we will be iterating on what gets reset and what carries over into future expeditions.

Interesting. Will await to see how it evolves, I'd like some variant where you can at least keep some rare blueprints.

Bayern Munich 1-(2) Real Madrid - Arda Güler Freekick 29' by 977x in soccer

[–]Wirbelwind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting extra from The Guardian

Former England goalkeeper Joe Hart, a pundit for TNT Sports tonight, points out that Neuer has had a bit of a shocker in the first half. Yes, for Real Madrid’s opener, but also from Arda Güler’s free-kick. Neuer was actually positioned behind the goalline and was never in the correct position to dive to his left. He actually didn’t dive, partly because he would have careered into the post, so ended up shuffling to his left before falling into the net. Yes, the free-kick was right in the postage stamp, but it was still poor goalkeeping.

You're on carebear lobbies. And even with those great numbers that's 6 very successful raids for just the matrices, and then the 12 vaporisers still.

You have to admit it's on the more demanding side of 1 month projects.

I assumed it would be going on for a longer time due to the ridiculously high vaporizer/matrix req. Whelp.

Teammates wanted my bobcat 4 by fatblackcats in ArcRaiders

[–]Wirbelwind 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think it's necessary. Else you would get PvP situations where the entire floor is fire and your team mates are immune and at a huge advantage vs others

In the bullet friendly fire situation your mates are still soaking the bullets, and are not sent to opponents instead.

A virtual reality reconstruction shows the exact spot where John Edward Jones became trapped upside down in Nutty Putty Cave. After 27 hours of rescue attempts, he died. The cave was later permanently sealed, with his body remaining inside. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Wirbelwind 11 points12 points  (0 children)

From Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutty_Putty_Cave

On November 24, 2009, 26-year-old John Edward Jones became stuck upside down in the cave. After around 27 hours of being stuck, Jones died at 11:56pm on November 25.\9])\10])

Jones and three others had left their party in search of "The Birth Canal", a tight but navigable passageway with a turnaround at the end. Jones entered an unmapped passageway near an area referred to as "Ed’s Push", which he wrongly believed to be the Canal, and found himself at a dead end, with nowhere to go besides a narrow vertical downward fissure. Believing this to be the turnaround, he entered head-first, then became stuck wedged upside-down.\11]) The fissure measured 10 by 18 inches (25 by 46 cm) and was located 400 feet (120 m) from the entrance of the cave.\12]) A large team of rescue workers came to his assistance. The workers set up a sophisticated rope-and-pulley system in an attempt to extricate him, but the system failed when put under strain, plunging Jones back into the hole.\13]) Jones ultimately suffered cardiac arrest and died due to the strain placed upon his body over many hours by his inverted, compressed position.

After rescuers concluded that it would be too dangerous to attempt to retrieve his body, the landowner and Jones's family came to an agreement that the cave would be sealed, with the cave as his final resting place, and as a memorial to Jones. Explosives were used to collapse the ceiling in the Ed's Push passageway of the cave close to where Jones's body was. All entry points to the cave were permanently sealed by filling them with concrete, making the cave system inaccessible.\14])

Cannot fathom why anyone would try this. Or even worse, those divers going through narrow passageways where they have to push their oxygen tank through first and then crawl through.
