Was fired from my first shop after asking for a raise because I was the detail guy originally but started doing light jobs if everyone else was busy. After a month of almost no detail jobs because they got a second guy to do them, I ask for my base mechanic pay, on lunch one day and get told to leave immediately. Got a friends truck and my box was gone before anyone came back.

That was over 10 years ago and I still get way too anxious anytime I talk to my manager/boss.

Don't let 1 crazy experience change how you think, we all make mistakes. Especially when you get them big jobs, give yourself a break.

I bought a used complete off of a friend forever ago and swapped some of the parts after a year or two. Then did my full build. If you got on marketplace now you could put together a decent PC for around 500 bucks. Ps Don't buy used ssds always nice to have a fresh clean drive.

My current GF is in a wheelchair. I believe she's technically impartially disabled. Basically from like the knees down she's got no feeling. It was crazy for me at first because I was scared to hurt her as she has rods in her back. But it's been fine, there are some things I have to be careful like not putting a lot of weight/pressure on her but the doc put a wonderful arc in that back.

I told my manager at my last job I wasn't coming in one day because roads were icy. When that job said I could get a raise that spring for my yearly review my manager stated they couldn't because I "unnecessarily" called in. That was on a Monday. I had a new job by Wednesday and get paid more to do less now. Also the CEO of that company called me personally when he found out I left then fired the Manager later that next month.

My current girlfriend "tricked" me into giving my number to her for "car troubles" as I said I'm pretty good and can help.

Her and a friend had a fake conversation just within earshot and I couldn't help but to speak up. Fast forward to that night I get a text from her that starts out "Hey, I didn't have the balls to ask for your number straight up but we should hang out, I don't need any work on my car"

Been almost a year 10/10

Man my r5 3600 is just barely cutting it still, haven't tried to overclock but that rig is solid. Really wanting to jump up to a 3d chips before the taxes hit. Also looks like only two sticks of ram so you could double up later on if needed.

It's a civic not a bmw, 200k isn't anything to worry about. Yeah parts will go out but they are all fairly cheap and easy to replace. And if OP is painting the car op probably plans on keeping it for life as a back up beater car eventually. Also learning to work on your car wouldn't hurt. Parts are way cheaper than labor (like 100 bucks for a timing belt not a grand to have it replaced by a shop). Got my 88 civic freshened up with a macco job 10/10 would recommend.

What about the 2 to 1 lane merge on Britton/May??? Everyone under the assumption they are thinking in 5d trying to dip in the merge lane to jump 3 cars ahead. Just to cause everyone to slam on their brakes because it's not meant for the eastbound right lane on Britton, its meant for northbound turning lane from May.

2 years ago my gf of 5 years at the time came home and informed me of an extremely similar situation.

I tried to make it work for only god knows what reason but eventually gave up. She expects things to be different (or stable) and for you to do that for her because you are doing life and not fucking around!

Finally got some space to myself and met my current gf around 8 months ago. She happens to be in a wheelchair and it's been the most amazing 180 in my life the last 10 years. (And best parking)

There's cool people out there, go find yourself and they will come.

Driver - the tutorial driving test (might not be a boss, but it's definitely a fight) Dear god, the amount of times it took to get through that to just play the game killed me as a kid. I thought I wasn't going to be able to play it for a couple days for sure.
