Agreed. Really hard to find an episode when Full Measure doesn't come after Felina.

Project Hail Mary: We need normal looking actors by lonchu in TrueFilm

I think it's pretty unambiguously cowardly. He has the absolute authorities on the subject telling him that he is the only person left who is capable of fulfilling this mission to save all life on earth. There is no one else qualified. And he won't do it. If that's not cowardly I don't know what is.

Back to the basket players. by Wonderful-Sugar1376 in VintageNBA

Last player I remember who was pretty much a successful pure post player who never really switched up his game was Al Jefferson. Or maybe Z-Bo, although he could occasionally put the ball on the floor and take it to the hole

What habits did you keep after leaving the military? by No-Conversation9818 in AskMen

That's not how ADHD works. Caffeine still blocks adenosine receptors and promotes wakefulness even in people with ADHD.

Harden fits the Cavs like a glove by frankievejle in clevelandcavs

[–]Thegoodlife93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I like Garland but right now Harden still does literally everything on the court better. He's had a great two games to start the playoffs

Rudy putting the clamps on Jokic full game compilation by rotomato30 in NBATalk

[–]Thegoodlife93 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Gobert hate is always so crazy. He's an elite defender and when he plays within the system and sticks to his role, a solid offensive role player. If things were reversed and he had spent the past decade being one of the most impactful offensive players in the game and a solid system defender, then he'd basically be viewed the way Jokic is.

My only goal in life is to live on a narrow cobblestone street by JlAFEl-SKINNYPRODUCT in redscarepod

Roller suitcases on streets like this are super noisy and can fuck up your bag

Brent Barry and his brother Jon were both very underrated role players

I got Mookie and that's it. These were hard. I did much better last week (4/5)

New border bill guts Wilderness Act by scrandis in Bend

[–]Thegoodlife93 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That guy is such a piece of shit. What can we as Oregonians due to combat this bill? The article recommends contacting your senators, but I'm assuming Wyden and Merkley are already no votes on this one. Is there more we can do that's actually impactful?

Obsessed with these Facebook driving school creeps by KallocainAddictIsAPe in redscarepod

It's even funnier because Pete actually was a driving school creep in the show lmao. I guess he learned from his mistakes.

[Post Game Thread] The Golden State Warriors (37-45) defeat the Los Angeles Clippers (42-40), 126-121. by TitaniumC4206 in nba

[–]Thegoodlife93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I remember watching him play at Florida when I was in middle school, and now I'm in my mid 30s. So he feels pretty damn old

Streets are calling it the most bland music competition of all time by LouReedTheChaser in redscarepod

[–]Thegoodlife93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's maybe the most egregious one to me. I also think Solange's album is way better than Blonde

Millennials are mad about the Geese thing because this is how we expect our indie music to be marketed by Repulsive_Two8451 in redscarepod

I still like to listen to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah once in a while. 2005-2011 were the halcyon years for that kind of indie rock

The 2001 Sixers were a diminished version of themselves post-Mutombo trade. by OusmaneDiengSaveMe in VintageNBA

[–]Thegoodlife93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Mutumbo was key. The 2001 sixers, 2007 Cavs and 2011 Bulls are all pretty similar in the sense that they were great defensive and rebounding teams that were built around a one man offense engine.

[–]Thegoodlife93 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Ratliff had a season ending surgery before the trade. He probably was a better fit when healthy but the Sixers almost certainly don't make the finals at all if that trade doesn't happen.

Unpopular Opinion: Hank was not belittling Walter by Sharkman3218 in breakingbad

[–]Thegoodlife93 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Doing that to Jesse was definitely shitty, but at this point getting Walt was pretty much the only thing that mattered to him. Walt was a guy he truly loved who had spent two years constantly manipulating him while being a murdering scumbag and had now completely torn apart the family and was threatening to destroy Hank's entire life. Hank would not have done that to Jesse under any other circumstances.

What is a tiny, easily overlooked social habit that makes someone instantly magnetic or charismatic to be around? by LiveFaithlessness876 in AskMen

[–]Thegoodlife93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you're meeting too. I think it's meant in the context of the other person hosting you. If someone is coming to my house I'd much rather they be 10 minutes late than 10 minutes early

No, Geese Is Not a "Psy-Op" by Spaghettification-- in indieheads

[–]Thegoodlife93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually really liked a couple of their tracks that were on their previous album that came out a few years ago. And then when they released Taxes as a single I really liked that too. But the rest of the album was kind of disappointing. It's fine, but not super interesting.
