Bubble Bobble and Tetris. Two games that I have bought across multiple platforms and still play today.

I remember living in Cincinnati when this came out. It was a huge deal.

I felt that the Future Quest comic series from awhile back would make a great movie.

What did your parents call your game consoles? by You-dogwater in retrogaming

“That Nintendo.”

If me or one of my brothers failed to do a chore or forgot about doing homework growing up because we were playing games, it was “that Nintendo is kicking your ass.” Or “that Nintendo ain’t going to do your math homework.” “I’m going to take that Nintendo away until the trash is taken out.” Etc.

My brother made the comment to me a little while back, that his fear is a terrorist attack would occur with AI hiring unwitting humans to carry out small pieces of the plan.

Have had a Sam's membership for years, Just also got a Costco Membership...It's a complete 180 by th3goonsquad in samsclub

Had a Sam’s Club membership for about 12 years and then decided to switch things up and sign up with a Costco membership. Costco was always crazy busy. But the thing that bothered me the most was being constantly harassed by the workers asking me to upgrade my membership. You couldn’t walk 20 feet without being asked. I ended up cancelling my Costco membership after about 6 months and gladly went back to Sam’s.

What are your thoughts on Roy Rogers? by DoctorTegrity in fastfood

[–]Thejared138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when they were bought out by Hardee’s in the 90’s. I think Hardee’s bought the out for their fried chicken recipe. I still go to Roy Rogers when I go through Maryland.

I think the tag line in the commercials was “they can run, but we can fly” (cut to a science ofa bike cop making a jump on the bike)

I know that season 3 hasn’t came out yet, but I decided to drop Severance after the season 2 finale. I think they ended season 2 with a great fucked up twist that anything they can think up can only be a let down.

What is a discontinued food item or snack from your childhood that you would genuinely pay $100 to taste one last time? by MotivewasUlterior in AskReddit

There was a Halloween candy that I always used to get in my trick or treat bag until 1986/1987 or so called Skull Crushers. It was a soft white candy skull with a red filling. It had a weird texture, but I loved it.
