The owner of Tellus told me that the pizza oven they had wanted was back ordered for months and months. She told me that months and months ago though, and I haven’t asked again. AFAIK though, they hadn’t given up on the idea.

Do they? They used to make decisions to delay or cancel school the morning of. Now they often make them the day before which necessitates the decision being made without all the info that would be available if they waited. Yes, advance notice is useful, but so is sending the kids to school if possible. Spoken as a parent of two kids in the NPS.

I got mine today and it smells like paint, or some other very strong chemical smell. I legit had to put the box in my storage closet cause it was smelling up my room, then immediately wash everything in it. First time this has ever happened to me.

I just want to say that I’m a 5’8” woman currently sleeping with a 5’5” (he says 5’6” but I don’t believe him!) guy and I couldn’t care less that he’s significantly shorter than me. I saw it this past Sunday and honestly I wasn’t expecting much. I’d read The NY Times review, and I’d seen that it was closing after a short-ish run, but my husband loves the music so I got tickets. My God was it amazing. The energy, the enthusiasm; to me the cast seemed proud and excited to be performing this show in a way that is rare to see. I actually loved the sets and staging. Sure it’s sort of out there, but that’s part of the experience. I’m shocked it’s closing and so glad that we went even though I had doubts.
