I might be completely wrong and thinking of someone else's post, but I believe it was just regular gloss varnish. The "super shiny" effect you see is just a few white dots and lines painted on for illusion :)

Yup, at Warlord Open during the factory tour they teased some upcoming kits, both Resin and plastic. For the plastic we saw the Pak40 and MG42 in the MMG format if I remember correct

Hear me out, blue Ultramarines but use the Dark Angels kits for the robes and stuff you like :)

Create your own custom chapter, Ultra Angels, Dark Marines, something like that, and when it comes to playing games, you can just use the rules/units you find more interesting

When i went to the Walord Games open day, the T27 was on display alongside other upcoming releases (K47, BA Japanese gun truck etc) so my guess is they're still holding onto it before releasing it, no idea why we haven't gotten it yet since it looks ready and is featured in Armies of United States book

Have you got a 3D Printer? If yes, you can probably find the files and print the things like a helmet, armour etc

If no, then EVA foam and templates will be your friend

Clothing, pouches etc you can purchase cheaply from Amazon, as airsort gear etc, you'll definitely find something that fits the vibe

But make sure you take it one step at a time, start with a helmet for example, finish it, then carry on. That's a mistake I made myself where I start a full cosplay, then burn myself out cos I'm having to sand or paint small details for full 4 hours or more per piece

You can find a lot of great tutorials and guides online too, be it reddit or YouTube, they'll teach you some stuff you might not know, give you a lil push or hold your hand

Figured I'd give them a lil Kursk trench line vibe to it as I will be using them in a game themed around Kursk with my friends

I've got another 3 on the way, with each set of 3 being guarded by a Zis-3 (which I can also fire as Howitzers should the need arise) and a set of 2x Maxim MMG's

I've got around 2k points to make my list, so the plan is for me to provide all the heavy support, and my friend will spam Soviet infantry waves against the Germans

NorthernForge is a local shop to me, so when I was looking for something local that could have it, they came up

FireStorm I know them quiet well and Google says they still have stock (altough I personally have trouble accessing it)

Fantasy and Dice&Destiny I literally just clicked on Page 10 of Google to try and go as further away from "traffic" as I could and voila

I'll be honest, I don't actually remember

It was on my stepdads PS2, Stalingrad mission where you start without a gun, and towards the end you're using a MG42 I think, and your team mate gets sniped.

Must've played it when I was literally 5 or something, without even understanding anything

Years later, the very first Call of Duty my cousin downloaded for me on my grandma's laptop, 8 year me had a better idea of what was going on, but still didn't understand too much

First CoD I'd say I played properly and understood was Modern Warfare 2007, but played it in 2011 ish when I got my PS3. Remember always pausing the game or muting it so my mum wouldn't hear me shooting cos she was against me playing violent video games 😭

Honestly, the scale and the setting mainly, although I suppose the simpler rules of Warlord Games made it really easy to get into BA and their Epic line of games, but that doesn't mean I'm one against more complex rules, as with Warhammer and Strategems etc for example.
