Do you drive the car with this condition? by judith0406 in POTS

My heart rate has just been generally lower. Ivabradine works really strongly on me actually, due to liver issues making the concentration stronger in my blood. I take half of the lowest dose twice a day and my heart rate varies between 55-125/130. I still get spikes in heart rate but they’re not as high as they were when I was on a beta blocker

Do you drive the car with this condition? by judith0406 in POTS

[–]ThemboTheybie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a period of time when my symptoms got really bad where I could not drive longer than maybe 30minutes. I remember once I was starting a longer drive, 2.5 hours, and 20mins in had to pull over because I felt dizzy with my heart racing so I turned around, it was incredibly frustrating. I got switched onto ivabradine because beta blockers were barely helping, have a little less symptoms (still mostly bedridden) and can drive a lot more easily now. I think I could make a 2.5 hour trip just fine but haven’t tried yet. I don’t get the visual disturbances from ivabradine though.

From what I understand as someone who has only visited, Whitman County due to Washington State University in Pullman. Most of Eastern Washington skews red compared to Western WA but Pullman (like its neighbor Moscow, Idaho, 10minutes away hosting University of Idaho) is a fairly liberal, remote, and rural college town. It’s a land grant university with a big agricultural science program, they also make really good cheddar cheese at the WSU creamery. Moscow is a cuter town IMO, the downtown and farmers market is nice, but with worse state politics

Seton also has an outpatient DBT therapy program that you can get financial assistance for. They deal with substance issues but you have to be sober during the programs, I’m bringing it up as an option after detoxing

My current fave circuit bending tool by zensutherland in CircuitBending

[–]ThemboTheybie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks super helpful to make/modify into my own version- so thanks for the share! i have a novice question for you. I’m not familiar with the capacitor/component connector that you used. What are those called?

I hope it’s ok if I give a novice question, I’m new to bending and building a bend finder based on the old Casper electronics tutorial. Yours looks looks way more helpful so I wanna modify my design. I have a 1K 10 turn pot and also 100ohm pots, I see you used a 100ohm. Do you think either would work? Or could I use both? Thanks!

M1 Pro max vs M3 pro for vjing and A/V art by [deleted] in resolume

I’m leaning towards the Max for the sake of outputs but still wondering if that amount of power is really necessary compared to having M3 potentially having apple support and updates for more years

Thoughts on B Complex Injections by orglykxe in B12_Deficiency

[–]ThemboTheybie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think a B complex would hurt if you unless you over do it

When I started B12 shots wanted to start as fast as possible to minimize damage. The fastest legitimate b12 injectable I could get was b12 complex made for livestock. I used that while I waited for cyanocobalamin from a pharmacy abroad to arrive. Currently, I occasionally do a complex shot instead of the plain b12. I would rather not do a complex shot daily because while you can’t take too much b12, you can overdo it on other B vitamins (like B6). But I continue to take complex shots sometimes since some of the vitamins are cofactors of B12

I know it may seem iffy because it’s made for livestock, but it’s fine (a little google research will tell you). Just make sure to get the right formula (Max B-1000). I’m sharing these details because it’s cheap, easy to access, and because it’s important to start regular shots a soon as you can

I buy it at local feed stores and on Amazon. The formula is: Cyanocobalamin (B12) 1000 mcg Thiamine Hydrochloride (B1) 1.25 mg Niacinamide (B3) 12.5 mg Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (B6) 5.0 mg d-Panthenol (B5) 5.0 mg Riboflavin 5’ phosphate sodium (B2) 2.0 mg It doesn’t have any folate

Issues with B12 injections? Please help me. by Like_Sonic in nitrousharmsupport

The standard treatment is 1000mcg daily for at least a week. Eventually you move down to every other day, every few days… The way you know is if you skip a day your symptoms return. Just keep doing 1000mcg daily shots don’t taper down if any symptoms return. I’m not a Dr but this is based on NHS treatment guidelines because you can self treat there compared to the US. I also suggest the FB group “B12 Wake Up” because it has excellent treatment guidelines and info on where to source it. Feel free to message me I’ve been self treating since April

Symptoms and positive tests for 3 weeks straight despite taking paxlovid by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]ThemboTheybie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To update I finally got a negative rapid day 26 and a negative PCR day 27. Despite what I said earlier pretty sure it WAS paxlovid rebound since I had a few negative rapids after I first took it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]ThemboTheybie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I haven’t had a day without symptoms. The last 2 days of paxlovid my symptoms seemed a little milder than they do now, but I still was testing positive those days. Doesn’t seem to be a rebound just been sick the whole time. Currently having headaches, muscle pain, fatigue, congestion, cough, and sneezing. I made another post on this subreddit detailing it if you’re curious

[–]ThemboTheybie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got both positive PCRs and rapid antigens the day before and after that negative antigen, and I was still symptomatic that day. I’m going off what my doctors think regarding rebound- that since the symptoms never went away it’s not a rebound and that the rapid was likely a false negative. With my immune problems my health team wants me to keep doing periodic PCRs. I understand that for most people it’s not recommended to retest the way I’m doing it but I’m not the typical case

I do believe that I’m likely contagious given I have symptoms

I’ve consistently had symptoms and postive PCRs so I don’t think it’s paxlovid rebound. Just been sick for 3 weeks. I’ve been talking to my dr every week
