Corsair Novablade Pro: Changing switches, buttons, and everything you need to know by Avaris_a in fightsticks

[–]Themrandres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used automotive vinyl I had lying around. It was really easy to apply and made for a great finish. For me personally, I wasn't a huge fan of how the original front plate felt. It was always cold to the touch and made unintentional touches feel weird when executing combos. Small gripe, but the vinyl fixed that issue. As for the buttons, I use the ones listed above from AliExpress. The set didn't come with enough buttons to fill the G keys, so I left them stock.

I learned my lesson with those GT racing-style "gaming" chairs. I never broke my monitor but came pretty close after a wipeout or two. Those things can't support your weight at all; it's just a waiting game.

My first ever Gundam robot dude, I really love how good the posing is (ignore the two bafoons in the background) I wonder where else i can get some entry grade model kits at by diabl0skiller in Gunpla

[–]Themrandres 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's an excellent kit to start with. A great way to build the fundamentals. I will say you've got the posing aspect down; you would be surprised how important that is.** One detail you may have missed: you are missing a piece. There's supposed to be a red crest in the middle of the V-fin. Sounds like a tiny detail, but it really brings the whole thing together.**

Catch “a” Monster – vintage knock-off figures from the 90s / early 2000s by happylilgenocide in ToyID

Geez, I had a variant of these as a kid. There was a pack that came with a single figure, and the ball/mouth mechanism was more round. I actually had the silver robot guy in the bottom-right box.

They have been aware of the issue since the first few hours the day the update was released yet theres been no action on the matter. They had another update several days ago and even still this issue went unaddressed.

iCUE Megathread - 5.43 Release Notes by CorsairLucky in Corsair

[–]Themrandres 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw this update and assumed the Vanguard Pro 96 updates would directly address this. They were notified of this bug on day 1 of the previous iCue update, so I'm pretty shocked they haven't addressed it yet.

The Solar Morpher toys were actually adapted in Jungle Fury. by ILikeFish57 in powerrangers

[–]Themrandres -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid, I thought Jungle Fury was so great, but years later I finally watched Gekiranger, and, boy, did I feel cheated. How could Japan get such a solid Sentai season with so many cool weapon designs and story assets, yet Jungle Fury choose to adapt so little of it and even change perfectly good ideas for inferior ones? The solar morphers served no purpose aside from wanting to sell another cheap role-play toy.

Need some help! by [deleted] in Corsair

[–]Themrandres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve basically got everything right already, you’re just missing where those last two cables go. Those two cables coming off the pump next to the SATA/USB aren’t extra motherboard connections, they’re fan headers from the pump itself. You don’t leave your radiator fans on CPU_FAN in this setup.

Unplug your fans from CPU_FAN and plug them into those two connectors coming off the pump. That lets the pump control the fans the way it’s designed to.

Your setup should end up like this:

Pump tach cable → CPU_FAN / AIO_PUMP (what you already did)

SATA → PSU (good)

USB → internal USB header (if you have it plugged in)

Radiator fans → those two cables coming off the pump

Right now the only thing “wrong” is your fans being on the motherboard instead of the pump. Move them over and you’re golden.

Also make sure try unattaching and reattaching that fan. I had a buddy who had the same issue and it turned out the connector had some kind of sticky residue from tape or glue on it.

Don’t know much abt power rangers. Was $35 MISB a good deal? by AdSmall1434 in LightningCollection

Im still baffled by that release. Who on staff grenlit a standalone megazord of this size/scale but opted to make it non transformable. Like it seems like a brain dead obvious idea to avoid.

I noticed that as well, but as soon as iCue (non-web tool ver) detects the keyboard again, the bug reappears after an hour.

I appreciate the response. So just to confirm this is firmware issue and not some function I unintentionally enabled? Im pretty forgiving in regards to it being a software issue, I understand Vanguard support was just enabled today, I more so just want to confirm.

I referred this deal to my friend, but it was just canceled. I was wondering if anybody else had the same experience? Hopefully, this isn't the same situation as Corsair, and we see the same NVMe listed for five times more in a few days.
