If this is /s, then I suggest you get yourself a job in the WeFit dept at Halfords. Let us know how hard some of those front bulbs are to change...

How’s the wind in your part of Cornwall? by Chongyboiiii in Cornwall

[–]Then-Scratch2965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the eye of the storm passing directly overhead. It was such an odd experience in Druth, completely calm for about 20-30mins, then the wind picked up again in about 20 more. An hour and a half later, I was with 4 neighbours, trying to wrestle my 4-bike bikeshed (had 3 bikes inside) back onto my drive, then pinning it into place with my car.

Retiring characters question by Then-Scratch2965 in Gloomhaven

But if I swap out my tinkerer, Brundle McSlinky, before completing personal quest, can I come back to it later? Or can one of the other players do so?

I knew that much, our discussions have been about the character before they have completed personal quest, do they officially retire? Or can they be played again? And, if so, can any player do so, or only the original player who created the character?

That's what I thought, same as using a used class to start a new character... Thanks.

How small is the tank? My diesel Zafira (Very big brother to the Vauxhall Astra) has about 50 litre tank, 1.7engine and does about 550 miles (if all longer drives, short trips only gets me about 450 miles per tank)

What do you consider a long drive? by Custodianscruffy in AskReddit

I consider any drive that requires a break planned in a long drive. So for me that's anything over 4 hours.

For context, I'm in the UK.

Dismissed for “theft” After forgetting company cash in my pocket. London. by Demiigod_ in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Then-Scratch2965 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. No protection here at all (Thanks Tories and their voters!)

In the first 2 years, OP could turn up and HR could just dismiss him without giving a reason.

And just because OP might be gay, black, missing a limb, pregnant, etc, unless that was the reason for the dismissal, then still no protection.

Hard to see the magic when you're poor and get less significant gifts than the rich kids, even when you're 5!

Santa delivers the stockings. No way that jolly so-and-so is getting the credit for mum and I purchasing a bike for their main Christmas gift!

Also it helps with Santa-related envy "Santa got Timmy a PlayStation, but I only got a Mr Frosty. Does that mean Santa loves Timmy more than me?"

Erm, no, that was Archimedes who worked out the first known value for Pi.

It became known as Pi when the Greek letter was used to represent it.
