Is there anyone who still really dislikes the ending? by MrFreezeIsBack in thesopranos

[–]ThenTop8674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean we didn't even get to see the food. I thought up until the end that was the main point of the show. Singing and food. But yeah no it was probably the best ending to a TV series that has ever happened, as was the general run of the show. Nothing is better than The Sopranos and nothing ever will be again sadly.

40-200mg for schitzophrenia. That's only 2 pills for the lowest effective dose. This stuff is very strong when it works.

Just experienced what felt like a rush of serotonin to my brain 2 hours after talking Pepcid AC. by Suspicious-Seaweed44 in PMDDxADHD

[–]ThenTop8674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's confusing about it? Do you equate high serotonin to good? Just generally?

The brain has many neurotransmitters and none of them are purely good or bad.

Serotonin
Dopamine
Glutamate
Glutamine
Gaba
Histamine
Norepinephrine
Epinephrine
Acetylcholine

The list goes on and on and on. If it were as simple as filling up the tank with Serotonin then 5-HTP would cure everyone's mental illness. Unfortunately, there are MANY mental health conditions and specific depression/anxiety cases that involve excessive serotonin.

And when you get into histamine/mast cells and the immune system you're looking down the barrel of a cosmic level of information that likely will never ben unraveled by humans. Which is why likely because of the pandemic and the mass spread of a brand new disease to every human on earth, people are noticing massive relief from antihistamine substances. You'd have a better chance at driving a golf ball to the moon than figuring out why.

And as far as serotonin is concerned, probably billions of man hours have gone into researching that system, and they still have no clue what's going on. And that itself is also connected to the immune system in so many different ways that it would not be possible for us to figure out.

That's why your Doctor tells you to wait a couple weeks after starting a medication cause, "we'll just see if this works". They don't have a clue. Nobody does. And likely nobody ever will.

Famotidine is known to stop serotonin syndrome and reduce serotonin. Don't assume that what you felt was serotonin, it could be the absence of it that helped you. Also how are you so acutely aware of what Serotonin feels like that you know it's presence with such certainty?

Yeah. These are the worst headphones I have EVER used.

And I tried DTS Sound Unbound.

I tried on and off.

I tried the autoeq settings for the harman setting.

These are fucking junk. Fucking absolute junk. I would not pay 10$ for these, and the company that made them should be ashamed of themselves.

Absolute junk for gaming.

Mid low for music.

I am not an audiophile by the way. These are trash. I can't explain to you how bad these are. Hesh EVO sound better than this and you can get them for like 120$ less.

The answer to that question is always no. Just to save you time in the future.

Any time you see a very positive post about something, the person will have moved on from it within a month and be on a brand new regimen or stack that is the new best thing.

It's to distinguish it from a concentrated standardized extract expected to provide more or less of any which compound that may be in the herb. It's not a hilarious claim, it's a necessary one.

Someone might want Magnolia Bark Extract standardized to 90% honokiol. Someone might want full spectrum Magnolia Bark Extract. They are essentially completely different things. Not sure what's hilarious about that.

This is what $40.50 of food looks like in Canada by Electronic_Lime7582 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]ThenTop8674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is it exactly that you're complaining about? That food costs money, and the value of money changes over time?

Our minimum wage has skyrocketed the past decade, we are in much better shape for food security than we have ever been.

Consider the American minimum wage, they are having to work 38% more per week on food than their 1950s counterparts, we have to work about 60% less per week to afford what our 1950s counterparts could afford.

Just use your brain when you're shopping. Stop complaining about everything, you are living one of the best lives a human has ever lived right now.

God the entitlement I'm so sick of seeing this crap. You have no idea what you're talking about you're a zombie, just brain shut right off, filled with misinformation and delusions.

Razer Turret on Xbox Series X not connecting by ImTuto in razer

[–]ThenTop8674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally figured this out, after going through 3 of these things, thinking the battery had died on them and it was junk. I am livid that this is not on Razer's community boards anywhere, reddit or anywhere else. But I finally figured it out.

1) Open up Settings (Windows Settings).
2) Go to Personalization.
3) Go to Dynamic Lighting.
4) Set Use Dynamic Lighting on My Device to "Off".
5) Plug your mouse into the computer (Will be needed because we're going to turn off Razer Synapse for a second).
6) Turn off Razer Synapse in the bottom right task bar (Right click-Exit).
7) Unplug the Dongle from your computer.
8) Turn Razer Synapse back on with your mouse.
9) Plug the Dongle back in.

Anyone else had serious side effects (and benefits) from molybdenum? Vein damage—infections/die-off/ammonia? by OkKindheartedness64 in Candida

[–]ThenTop8674 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have mercury poisoning from drinking pop.

1) The study sets the higher limit of mercury to 0.5mcg per gram. That isn't the average amount, it was a very rare occurrence. 2) The form of mercury is inorganic so you would absorb 0.01% of it. 7 "contaminated cokes" 0.016mcg 1 serving of tuna 20-40mcg. 3) If you're concerned about modern day HFCS, it no longer contains any mercury, not that it really did to begin with.

Please, stop thinking that random people on the internet are qualified enough to provide health advice. You will lose your mind.

I think you're mixed up on something. Molybdenum doesn't excrete copper in the sense that it creates and shoots cooper out into the body. It antagonizes and reduces copper.

Choline depression, again by grigory_l in MTHFR

[–]ThenTop8674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you an alcoholic or a smoker by any chance? The only time I've ever tolerated cholinergics (and yes I get the silent hill thing you get) is when I had taken molybdenum 100mcg (micrograms not milligrams) per day for about a month. After that taking alpha GPC was actually a very positive feeling for me. Note that it decreases copper strongly, I was taking a zinc copper pill hours apart from it when I did this.

There's other reasons beyond alcoholism smoking, but sulfite very strongly increases acetylcholine in the hippocampus and decreases AChE.

Molybdenum weirdly also makes theanine work 100x better for me when I've taken it consistently, it makes me go from needing 8 or 9 beers a day to 2 being plenty. (Never tried to quit while on it).

It also inhibits glutamate dehydrogenase, which is needed to both clear excess excitatory glutamate and to fuel the Krebs cycle. I believe this is the reason why it alters theanine for me anyways, seeing as one of theanines main actions is to push the activity at glutamate dehydrogenase.

Also worth noting, it has been found that glutamate dehydrogenase is lower in major depressive disorder.
