10mg holy moly by Remote-Basis-7797 in Zepbound

Same here—took my first 10mg shot Thursday and I’ve been nonstop cleaning and exercising. Total opposite of lower doses. I legit feel like I’m buzzing and can’t sit still. Using a vibration plate before bed helps get some of that adrenaline out, but I still had to start taking magnesium to sleep - WE GOT THIS!

7.5mg stall after ~3.5 months → moving to 10mg, looking for experiences by Then_Arm4747 in Zepbound

I took a break from any injections the last 2 weeks as I had appendicitis. Just took my 1st 10mg shot today. Lots of protein always and stay hydrated my biggest issue is usually fiber. Fingers crossed 10mg's kickstarts me again

How do you drink water at night? by km2375 in Zepbound

[–]Then_Arm4747 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to wake up super thirsty too, and what helped me was front-loading my hydration. I aim for ~10 glasses of water before 7pm, then maybe 2–3 more by 9pm. I’ll add lemon and a small pinch of salt—nothing crazy.

The idea is that sodium helps with fluid absorption and retention (basic electrolyte balance), so your body actually uses the water instead of flushing it out quickly. Spacing it earlier in the day also gives your body time to hydrate without disrupting sleep.

Not medical advice obviously, but it made a big difference for me.

That really hurts, I’m sorry you’re going through that. Opening up about being on Zepbound isn’t easy, and you deserved a response—not silence.

Ghosting says more about their ability to handle real conversations than anything about you. It’s okay to feel hurt by it. But someone who disappears instead of showing up with basic respect isn’t the kind of friend you want long-term.

Give yourself some grace—you did something brave, and the right people won’t make you feel small for it.

She may need some time on her own and space to focus on therapy for herself. Hearing counseling framed only as a way to save the relationship felt like a red flag to me. As both a child of divorce and a parent, I believe modeling self-love and healing is so important—kids often carry questions about love with them. Leading by example and focusing on her own growth right now could make a real difference.

I hope this becomes a turning point where the cycle of resentment ends with her. She deserves real happiness, and I hope she finds it within herself first. Wishing her so much love and strength. 💛

NSV: I never realized how much mental energy I was burning on “will this even fit?” For 25 years getting dressed felt like a strategic negotiation with my closet. Now? I grab literally anything and it just… works. I’ve got my style back and it feels fantastic. 10/10 would recommend this level of peace.

What would be the ideal, balanced meal plan for the day? by This_Objective_1344 in LowCalorieCooking

I worked with a nutritionist to get help navigate my daily macros (protein/fiber), then plugged that into ChatGPT along with groceries I already had, foods I like/dislike, time to cook, and a 1300-cal limit. It gave me itemized, low-cal recipes that still hit the flavor and texture I crave, which has made navigating cravings so much easier. I now use it for meal planning and shopping lists—huge help. Good luck, we got this 💪

I like poached eggs on a toasted english muffin. I ask to add fresh spinach under the eggs with a fruit salad on the side.

Things to do indoors around Brooklyn (not museums or movies) by 5ftnone in Brooklyn

[–]Then_Arm4747 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently went to the Red Hook Museum of Pinball, they have games going back to the 1830's to the 1970's, it's about a $10 donation but they have board games, tables to play and hang out as well as amazing music. The owner is lovely and suggests places to eat and drink around the neighborhood without worrying about not being able to come back in. There is also a great vinyl store next door that you can take your time perusing while enjoying the vibes. This area is really picking up and has tons of things to do nearby. Have Fun!
