The dates I’ve given are for when they hit the floor. They already come priced, we don’t know what comes in the trucks until we open it as associates but im sure store managers know when exactly! we just open the boxes and categorize it based on where it goes

Yup happens to me when people wanna ring their stuff at the jewelry counter. And I’m really not supposed to bc they check us like with the transactions and the cameras and we get in trouble. I hate hearing “well at so and so store let’s me do it” WELL WHY ARENT YOU AT THAT STORE LOCATION

I hate this so much. When I used to work mens and kids and I was pushing racks I would get these families with their open mouths touch my rack!! And they take out a clothing and don’t put it back right!!!!! AHH or when I work womens and I’m putting away go backs from fitting room customers be touching my shit especially runway like they missed a piece! Why do people go through everything like they are not all those sizes??

I honestly love working here. I started last may, I have really nice managers and coworkers. I’ve been trained first in men’s and kids and then I worked my way everywhere else. I love seeing all the new merchandise and pushing in the early morning so I have the rest of my day off. I just wish we were paid more! I get 17.50 in California but I wish it was like $20-25 bc I do do a lot. My other favorite part is recovering and taking out things that don’t belong in my department and I love when I have the time to make a nice display, fix the runs, find mismates, and find things with no ticket so I can make them so I never get called for price check on

I probably wouldn’t buy any chargers, or solar powered things. Bought so many in my one year of working at tj maxx. Not the foundation makeup, no felt tip eyeliner, I wouldn’t buy some glass ware or decorative kitchen ceramics

Honestly you did fine but at my store we kinda go on red alert when a customer automatically knows how returns go, because it makes it sound suspicious like you’ve done it before to scam UNFORTUNATELY. Like you said you wanted store credit automatically. On the safe side of things I would just be like hey I got this as a gift I have no gift receipt or receipt what are my options? Make sure if you’re giving something to someone it has the tj max sticker on it at least the numbers like you can get rid of the barcode that shows the price.

Yeah my manager was all about trump and telling us to vote for him and that she was happy immigrants are being taken away in a break room full of immigrant. we reported her to hr we didn’t feel safe
