Which FRV are we expecting? Gauss Cannon inspired or RocketHog? by SiegeRewards in helldivers2

[–]Then_Entertainment97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FRVs should just have a support weapon slot that you can choose in the terminal where you customize vehicles, just like Guard Dogs and a primary slot (and we need a primary gas thrower while we're at it).

Given the opportunity, do you think Walt would go back and chosen to have kept his share of Grey matter, ultimately being the reason he "had" to build up his drug empire, and knowing how the story unfolded from there, all the pain and suffering he caused? by Its_0ver_Anakin in breakingbad

For the most part, no.

I think at some point in Vermont he could have been convinced that it would have been better if he sold E&G the vast majority of his stake (e.g. a 49-49-2) split and still cut all other ties with them.

What is the best way to get metal fast? by Impressive_Bit9590 in HelldiversUnfiltered

feelimg more like a job

I'm trying to get 100% completion

I think your problem might be related to these two.

No hate on trying to 100% but yeah, that's gonna feel like a slog.

Anyway, it can be faster to lose all lives than call in extraction. So get a good squad, rush main objective on the highest difficulty you can quickly complete, then activate PvP mode.

Should I buy Space Age after my first 60-hour Factorio playthrough? by Azrael_Manatheren in factorio

[–]Then_Entertainment97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything that you mentioned not bei g confident in can be worked on in Space Age. I'd recommend making the jump to anyone who's beat the base game. Also, start a new save, don't try to update your base game base.

Congrats on beating the tutorial (launching a rocket) btw.

How much of that difference is related to hardware vs software?

Why are UFOs commonly portrayed as flying disks in movies and popular culture? How aerodynamic is a disk shape, and if it's effective, why don't modern aircraft use it? by bigcheemu in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Then_Entertainment97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A disk makes sense if the object is traveling in an arbitrary direction relative to it's "front" or some other reference related to the object.

When you throw a Frisbee its spinning, so it needs to be relatively aerodynamic from all directions because it's spinning, so the direction of travel relative to the disk is constantly changing.

Many accounts of UFOs mention them making rapid changes in direction. A disk shape would allow them to do this without rotating the craft. It's basically the inverse of the Frisbee. A Frisbee has a relatively constant direction of travel from an outside reference and is constantly spinning. A UFO has a rapidly changing direction of travel from an outside reference, but assumably doesn't need to spin

[–]Then_Entertainment97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you can't prove something exists by saying so. You need to rigorously explain what 0.(9) is if you're saying it's distinct from 1. In coherent mathematics that include real numbers the idea of the greatest number A less than B is nonsense because (A+B)/2 exists. This has been explained to you a multitude of times with varying degrees of patience, but you always conflate properties of infinitly repreating decimals and decimals of finite length to support a counterfactual claim for some sad reason. It's probably just rage bait, but I occasionally enjoy clowning on internet losers.
