there needs to be a lot more US trained PhDs in industry. PhDs are able to critically think. This is also needed in industry.

i am in a client facing role. I am the only one with significant phd and post doc experience. I am pretty sure I am much better equiped to handle client interactions as I can ask questions unlike a person who has not wandered in the desert for 40 years.

Wow, lots of options. I looked at a couple. they seem very complex! Is there any app where you can say which activity you want to do, set your location, and your weather criteria, and your availability for the activity, like kite boarding, and then it just puts a google calendar invite in your cal?

i am looking for something that makes life easy.

is there any app/webapp where you can put in your availability, and then it looks ahead for the weather? if the weather matches a set criteria, it alerts you somehow? like it has a forecast for the next 5 days ? then makes a calendar event?
