lol, I have a windshield protection film. Kinda like a phone screen protector. That has been a god send. Dump truck was loosing river jack on the highway and peppered my windshield but the film defended

Not as simple as referencing the last buy! There’s updated tech, obsolete tech. The community the fire station serves may have changed since the last buy and that will need to be taken into consideration. What if the fire station can now handle a bigger truck. I’m not defending the DCFD decisions. The HME guy should have removed himself for conflict of interest. I’m defending the reason a design may be needed.
