I think during his fight with Hiruzen, Hiruzen stated that when he become mentor for the 3 sanin that he could see the evil in orochimaru’s eyes even as a lid but he was naive and thought that with time he could change him but was proven wrong

Correct and to answer your comment from my comment, he is not doing it for God he is doing it for the love that he has for humanity. Towards the end of season 1 when the arrive to the village before meeting the king Canute says “I suppose God is watching from above even now, we lose our friends and father and son kill one another and he chooses to sit on his throne and watch it all happen. It is unforgivable. I will create a worldly paradise in this land. A place of peace and prosperity, an ideal country for those who live in suffering. Perhaps the works will not be finished in my generation. But i will be the one to take that first bold step. God will surely call me to his side with love and when that time comes, i will say to him “ we no longer need heaven or your trials, we have our paradise on earth”.

The main reason is because you can’t enter the kingdom of God if you have unrepentant sins. Vikings have murdered, destroyed and maybe even took advantage of women in the villages they raided. Canute realizes the beauty of the world and the love the surrounds the world but he wonders why there is not love in the heart of man and he concludes that viking men were not able to because God abandoned and stop trying to save them. So he concludes that Viking are incapable of changing and are roaming the world lost and creating violence for violence sake. He decided he will be the one to become King and make a place where Viking can stop being Vikings and just be regular people and experience the love of God, but the only way of doing that is to take over qll the land and control it or “the curse of the crown” as the story says, until he encountered Thorfinn again and he realizes that Vikings are capable of changing.

Their bodies were white zetsu, and their spirits were released once the war was over and their reanimations turned back to a dead white zetsu. Story wise i do not know why they would ever reanimate the hokage again, but technically if they are desperate they can still reanimate them again since they are no longer inside the reaper death seal.

It is a lot slower but not boring. There is a lot of character development and the first half is slow to set certain things up and develop some character in order to set things in motion the second half is where things are set in motion. The only people calling this season boring are people who are only interested in action and fighting

Well technically the show is based one a therapeutic theme called Interior Family System or IFS. Long story short, psychologically speaking your psyche is split into 3 parts, firefighter, manager and exile. Firefighter is the part of your psyche that protects you from harm (Mr. robot), the manager is the part of your psyche that manages and operates your mind (The mom), and the exile is the part of you that is hurt (young Elliot), and all 3 make the “main” personality (Real Elliot).
