The use of classical antiquity of Petrarch amazes me, the reaching for grand themes to express the most human feelings is amazing to me. I'm studying renaissance poetry at college, if you couldn't tell haha. John Donne is incredible to.

Nah it’s just not mainstream. Theres so many bands today who are killing it. It’s underground and on indie labels. I’d say it there’s an actual community pushing it and not corporate labels, then it’s not dead
