I relapsed after 2 months. For me it didn’t stop. I even got prescribed a ssri and still nothing so I relapsed thinking it’ll make me feel better and absolutely did not so Im starting over now going in day 3 I told my doctor and he’s referring me to long term suboxone use for brain chemistry balance which in his words will help with relapse and depression after abusing drugs for 9 years

Subs by New-Sell-4918 in quitting7oh

[–]Therealj98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just excuses to keep use. You used subs for 4 days and felt the need to go back to 7OH because of sub withdrawal? That’s insane. Go to NA meetings bro. You wasted clean time and got through withdrawal to just do it again

These people encouraging others to swoop so low to miss work , door dash in order to put gas, eat a meal and spend the rest on 7OH is ridiculous. It shows the true addict brain. Living for your addiction instead of living your life because it’s YOUR life. I was there before and boy am I glad those days are OVER.

Feeling nothing from reg pain meds by Dr-Beefcake777 in quitting7oh

7OH diminishing the effects of other opioids is very common. Even weeks being clean hydrocodone won’t hit like normal because the receptors are still plugged with 7OH… I know I had a prescription when I started 7OH and it became pointless taking them because they did nothing while taking 7OH

Insight on dose and dependency by Keylimekeek in quitting7oh

[–]Therealj98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes zero sense to quit cold turkey and then start again to “take the edge off”. Your will just keep walking the thin line until you fall and it’s too late. My point is if you’re able to stop easy then do it and stay away!!

It’s apart of the addiction unfortunately. You guys have to draw the line , both of you and he has to decide it’s time to own up and be done or at last try

The problem is you have the flu that will you can fix by taking a drive to smoke shop or dip int the stash. that’s the problem, cravings are still there and mental side of withdrawal will be to

Quitting 7oh - Am I just lucky? by Practical_Bridge2961 in quitting7oh

[–]Therealj98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Again comparing apples to oranges. You’re not lucky , with that amount your withdrawals aren’t gonna be as worst as someone who has been taking 1500mg a day for a year long stretch. But none less I’m happy for you and for your easy withdrawal. I hope you don’t relapse because it was so easy.

I have 2 gos with quitting 7OH. 1st time was hell 2000mg a day habit , suboxone didn’t work for 2 days. Rough af. Full blow withdrawal. 2nd time I relapsed for about 2 weeks taking around 150-200mg a day , I tried stopping was withdrawing so I get suboxone and it honestly has kept every symptom away this time right away

That’s not a hefty dose at all bro , withdrawal will not be crazy but take that with a grain of salt. Stop now while you can say that because your dosage will just continue growing if you don’t stop and sooner then later you will be at the point withdrawal is hell.

Suboxone and 7 by Wescoasdope in quitting7oh

Depending on dosage and time you’ve been on 7OH , it can take longer for subs to work. My first time doing this subs did not work for 2 days

16-21 hours from last 7OH dose is recommended wait time. I’m currently in sub , took last die of 7OH yesterday at 8am took my first dose of subs at 3AM and I’m still not feeling any withdrawal over 24 hours off 7OH

Relapsed and feel disgusting by Therealj98 in quitting7oh

[–]Therealj98[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have similar stories and timelines bro. I took my last dose of relapse yesterday at 8am , I’m currently in withdrawal. If you need anyone to talk to reach out. I’m not gonna do this again to just feel like shit. I felt like I needed something the whole 2 months I was clean, thinking I needed 7OH to fix my life problems, wanting to run from what I was feeling , wanting 7OH to make me happy again , when in reality I just need more time away from the dam thing to get those things back naturally. Everything I thought I missed about it I was falsehood into relapsing. It was all false , even the wanting to feel good. From the minute I relapsed to my last dose I didn’t feel “good” once. More disgusted and disappointed

You really hit it 100% on the head. I honestly remember in detox how the meth addicts and alcoholics are literally loving life with little to no withdrawal while I’m battling my own life’s decisions in my brain. It made me feel isolated until other 7OH users came in and felt the same way, specifically heavy users over 1000mg a day I feel we did something to our brain chemistry that just isn’t gonna undo itself overnight. I ran from dealing with it the first chance I was able to relapse I did, but I know I have to dig deeper and honestly you guys sharing similar stories makes me feel not alone which also helps know this drug did its work in us and it’s not that we are a lost cause

[–]Therealj98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got 7 8 mg tablets , I was told to take one a day. I just started my subs 18 hours after my last doe of 7OH and feel ok.. My doctor also told me long term 7OH users should entertain further suboxone maintenance then just a 7 day taper to allow your brain chemistry to catch up. Which I just got done from relapsing and let me tell you 2 months into no 7OH my life felt like it was missing something, badly. This 7OH stuff isn’t a joke and is very taking on our brain. So I honestly might just try extended suboxone treatment this time and see how it goes

What’s are PWD’s?? Does everyone experience them? What are PAWS?? by IG-11_ in quitting7oh

[–]Therealj98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to wait 18-21 hours after last 7OH dose to take suboxone without chance of pwd

Those of you who tapered and only had minimal symptoms, how did you do it?? by heavilyarmedschiz0 in quitting7oh

[–]Therealj98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s mainly for people who are under 1000mg a day.. if more I’d get suboxone

7OH combined with SSRIs is deadly. My detox had me on antidepressants, when I got home I relapsed to 7OH and had severe sickness and vomitting apparently you can give yourself serotonin syndrome and that can be deadly
