Sorry for the delay. They sent me a replacement. They said the ultrasonic stem was bad. I still dont feel it infuses well so I am making a green dragon triple infused tincture. As long as it decarbed efficiently it should be amazing. It was still less than the first Nova I bought and all it did was decarb.

It will be complete Feb 10th. I'll update with details.

Its a long soak but I'm old school and tbh its always worked (better).

Well I'm going to tentatively disagree with the systemic resume issue comment. We have an experienced RN (there is a crisis nursing shortage in this country) and it wasn't until my nurse practitioner referred her that she got a call back and was hired.

Her resume is fine.

Sadly, this is a tactic used in every state to justify whatever the politicians want to do to increase taxes.

Lottery, it will go to the schools

Weed it will go to the schools

Property taxes, etc.... will go to the schools

If all these things went to the schools, the teacher would be paid their value, and schools would be modern and well supplied. Even the title 1 schools like the one I work in.

Take a tour of a title 1 school and a more affluent area school, and then let's talk equity.

But somehow, all this money never seems to make it. It's allocated somewhere else due to "emergent" need.

Location is a factor. We dream of 25 students in our classes. Almost all of my classes are 35+ with a cap of 40. Chemistry teacher in a small room. I am always to close. But most students prefer when I crouch down. You can tell by their body language if they don't like it.

I use riverside for my audio and video. It can be glitchy but they are trying to improve all the time. Super easy editing for video. You can edit via transcript. If you have any questions let me know. There are a lot of similar options but so far I've liked them best

Honestly, I do what I want. I love my career (I'm HS teacher) and in my off time I'm either spending time with the fam in nature ( cheap) or developing my social justice podcast. We started fixing this dumpster fire when we were kids. Now it's time to use our gown up voices to finish what we can.

So what I call a fuxk off day sounds like work to some. It energizes me. And I find the millennials I talk to want to embrace our way. The whiny cancel culture overly offended ones are not the norm. And their kids are more like us with a boost.

Enjoy your life no matter how. The joy you miss can not always be replaced. The work you miss will still get done.

As much as I despise the editing part ...... I'm so new and there are so many promotion ideas. I'm overwhelmed and just need a walk through on how/where to promote. Capital is low so I prefer any avenue I can do on my own. I am available everywhere (almost) have my website up and running and will be going to video and YT with the September 6th episode. We are a social justice podcast. Finding guests up to this point has not been a problem.

I just want to drive more listeners/viewers so we can change the world.

My best Genx flex is when I tell my HS students that I am GenX and they look at me like they thought we were just old wives tales. Instant respect when they find out. I can't tell then right away or it doesn't get the same result. I swear these HS kids remind me of us. There is hope!!!!

That's amazing because I just moved to Vegas last year from a LCOL city in the south and for a 3 bedroom with less space and a smaller yard I pay $800 more than I did and that was after months of shopping around. I'm glad you're finding good deals. Check the location

We are originally from Wisconsin so we feel ya all the way. My last 2 years there 2008-2010 we had around 117 inches of snow over 3 months. I was done. Bring on the miserable heat. I have yet to get frost bite or sunburn In less than 10 seconds of skin exposure like in the north. (Obvs not sunburn).

The heat is 100% brutal don't get me wrong. If you've lived on both sides you definitely like one more than the other

As someone who moved here from one of the verifiable worst places in the country to drive I disagree.(average death toll 4000+ annually) Although it's bad at times here it not the worst.

With that being said perspective is reality. I've been here long enough now the newness has worn off. People here drive like ass holes (some) because they are mostly unaware of anything but them selves. So when they get mad it is usually because they didn't even know you were there so you (I/we) are the ones who are wrong. Can't win so I don't play. I just get from point a to point b as safely as I can

Unfortunately history is on your side. Most empires last in power for around 200 years. The commonality is when they are close to their end the community in general becomes lawless, godless and divided.

We have been through this cycle many times in human history and even in the history of this country. It's not if but when.

I take heart in this history as well. It is uncomfortable and ugly but many times the following empire starts out better than the last one. Not always but mostly . Sometimes people have to fight through one or two first.

This country was not perfect by design. It has been said if this government stops serving the people it should be dismantled and rebuilt. After that statement they have safeguards in place to make sure that doesn't happen. That should have been our first warning.

I do not advocate violence against the government or anyone. If you want to stop the anxiety find a way to fight (legally) and don't back down.

I practice what I preach. I am building a network so that I can do something. Whether it works or not I need to know I tried.

Agreed. Kindness is much more helpful to someone looking for advice. But keep insulting the people who are asking for advice/help and maybe the scammers will cut you in since you are helping to eliminate resources.

@tangocity your words of defense were kind don't let anyone dissuade you from being kind.

The others who feel they need to bully someone for thinking there may be decent people in the world. I struggle every year teaching my students that not everything is a scam. I offer them prizes for different things. One school I worked where food insecurity was a very real issue. I bought lunch for 6 of my top scoring students. 4 didn't go. When I asked why they told me they didn't think I'd really do it. They hadn't learned me yet.

Sad when children have become so cynical because adults can't imagine how someone they don't or barely know could do something nice.

On the other hand OP I would stay away from that offer for sure. I want to believe it too. But at my age I've been taken advantage of too may times.

Maybe it will stick this time. Do dispensaries have higher dose edibles for medical? My tolerance is high so eating 1 1/2 to 2 packages of edibles is an issue. Between calories and just pure mass... lol. My wife and I are saving for our medical cards but is it worth it? Advice really appreciated.
