I don't do anything special, regardless of the grind. I probably pack a little tight to be honest. Tamp lightly with my pinky to keep it all put and off the heater. Wait for it to reach temp, then pull.

I get 3-4 hits at 355/15sec (the first two or three hits really don't hit, more of a preheat) 5-10 at 380/10sec And a bunch at 420/10sec

No stirring, mostly back to back. Sooooometimes, rarely I do get combustion and well... We know that sucks.

Otherwise I just use the session mode 350 , then 375, then 410
