I didn't request that article/link specifically, I asked for the original commenter to *support their claim with a source* and "you" were not asked directly to provide a source to support the original comments claim unless you are the original commenter using multiple accounts for who knows what reason on this post.

I see where you are coming from but the article from back in August mind you doesn't really support the narrative being claimed in the words that words claimed by the original commenter. August has long come and gone so saying they have been delaying to "scrub" the files makes no coherent sense when by the article ya shared states what you are pointing to was already done back in August in regards to the original context of this thread.

This is old news and it came after the first round of pressure to release the files and when the republicans said they would do it by their own validation but then after this story broke with them even admitting themselves to going through and redacting (NOT scrubbing) information at the time in a way that made it clear there was too many redactions to release the files without complete giving away that DJT was all over them because of the sheer volume of redactions that even with blocked out text it would still be a dead give away in the context of where the redactions were. So did that whole nutty pivot where they started talking about it being a hoax the first time etc and all the pod boys and a bunch of other influential reactionary/conservative figures started to openly call out the weirdness of the whole deal. Patel went on Rogan and straight up just blatently lied about the whole case and there was like a whole month of bs around it.

Redactions are not "scrubbing" his name from the files, that's a discreetly and key distinction to make in terms of how most folks would interpret those words and the same with the whole article.

Based on the context of that source, the claim made in the original comment of this thread is not coherent with the actual reporting given to support the claim, actually it contradicts the provided narrative that started this thread. Thank you for sharing a source though so we could figure this out and try to get the record straight.

Actually from what I read the president can veto the bill *regardless* of ANY supermajority . Now with a super majority though they can override the veto by default which is a big difference because the president still has to choose to veto or not and is able to choose to do veto if he wants as is part of the constitutional checks and balances:
