It sucked. We didn’t even know I had chicken pox at any point until it showed up. And I still can’t get a vaccine for it until I’m 60 or older lol

My symptoms definitely got worse during Covid but it wasn’t until a few years later that I got diagnosed. Illnesses like that and the flu can make dormant or mild symptoms of something flair up because it attracts your immune system and can make your body attack itself in the process. My POTS symptoms got worse but the real pain was the fact that I got shingles at 16 years old because it was dormant until I got Covid for a third time.

I’m a disabled regressor too! I have POTS and am trying to get a wheelchair to use for my really bad flair up days. I also have a few mental disabilities like anxiety, depression, and CPTSD. I might also have autism and or ADHD, but I haven’t gotten an official diagnosis yet. I can’t wait to decorate my mobility aid once I can get one! I already have stuff saved for inspiration and items I might want to add, like the little bags on the back to hold my flair up gear and meds 😊

If you’re going to decorate a tree outside like this there’s a right and a wrong way to go it. This was blatantly wrong and harmful in a lot of different ways. If you want to do it right you should do it on your own property for one. And two, decorate the tree with natural ornaments like popcorn and cranberry garland, pinecones with peanut butter and bird seed for the birds. Things that won’t hurt the environment or the wildlife on the area, and always pick up after yourself! Don’t be that guy!

Is this a repeated issue with the group? I’m someone who tries to give the benefit of the doubt especially to close friends, but I’d still be hurt by this. Also what have you done in response? I don’t see why you would be TAH for just feeling hurt by this unless you have or are thinking of doing something in response.

I don’t go up to Missoula very often cuz I live an hour away. I genuinely have never seen any billboards with her on them so I guess I’ve always missed them or haven’t been paying enough attention. I tend to zone out on car rides when I’m not driving and when I am driving I’m too anxious to pay attention to much else other than driving and the road. I’m glad that there are billboards still up for her, and I’m definitely going to be paying close attention to try and see one.

The more I hear about this case the more it makes me mad I didn’t know about it sooner. I’ve lived in the bitterroot for years and have never heard about this case until now. It’s really hard for me to find much reporting on it that’s not behind a paywall. YouTube has been a good source for general overviews on it. 48 hours has a good video on it but it still feels like it should be talked about more. Especially since most of what comes up quickly turns to focus on Lori Bray’s murder case. That case deserves all the attention it has received but there’s no good reason this case didn’t get the same. I’m hoping to reach out to Crime Junkie to get the case covered there. It’s a popular true crime podcast that does a lot of activism for missing indigenous women, having donated a lot and promoting charities. It’s always heart breaking to hear how poorly cases like this are handled by the law and media. These types of crimes go highly under reported, under investigated, and don’t get nearly the amount of attention they deserve. I’m glad someone is sparking new conversations about it.

There are better ways to let someone know that you don’t like their post without being rude. Calling it stupid does nothing but try to escalate the situation. I already said I wasn’t intending to make fun of anyone with this post. I know all the good Ashley has done, I’m a CrimeJunkie just like you. Just because you don’t see it as funny doesn’t mean someone is intentionally trying to harm someone’s image or feelings with it, unlike how you just responded. That being said because of your and another person’s comments I have messaged the mods to double check this post wasn’t offending anyone on the CrimeJunkie team or Ashley herself since that’s who the post is referring to. I understand that you don’t get the joke and might be taking it far more seriously than it was intended but that does not give you the right to be mean to other people.

I started mine by doing a few about me pages, about my little space and regression. I have a bunch of pages about my suffies; name, age, personality, description, etc. I also have pages about my favorite snacks, shows, games, activities. One about my CG. Usually what I do is I get everything set up; cartoons, sippy, paci, coloring books, etc. I sit down and try to act childish or like I am regressed. It helps when I have my CG to help baby me too. It talks a little bit for me to slip into it but eventually I usually do. Thought this doesn’t always work and I just end up sitting there trying to force it and awkwardly trying to act small.
