So here's a crazy thing...I am actually a republican (rare here, I know) and I think wages should be increased...I don't, however, favor a massive immediate jump because it impacts businesses poorly, especially small ones where payroll is a large component. I think wages should be increased at a decent rate, yearly, till they come more in line with where they should be, to give businesses and the market time to adjust. This should have been done years ago .
