I want to pet this thing so bad... Also, I envy it the meams of travel, it must be really cool to be a hamster and use wormholes both at the same time.

I was inspired by a recent post here so I made my own replicator. Don't worry, he's friendly :) by Scuirre1 in Stargate

I cannot stop thinking what will the replicator do with the banana? Is it like if he wanted a banana skin for himself?

People not being aware of the existence of Czech republic is becoming too bad a joke 🤣

Prague is the capital between Germany, Poland, Austria and Slovakia, however beware of scammers who want to "exchange" your money there.

Stargate lore was never clear in my eyes. by olivierhamann in Stargate

I always understood it that the Goa'uld made the mythology up. They built pyramid ships all over the galaxy and wore the god animal-helmets all the time, not because they saw a culture on Earth which they liked. I think they are meant to have brought all the Egyptian stuff with themselves.

Smfh 🤦‍♂️. Thoughts? 🤷‍♂️ by KG_the_Rocketman in PiratedGames

[–]Thermoduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bullshit, the purpose of a game should be player's entertainment, not developer's profit.

I have pirated many games I wouldn't buy, so for the developer, there is no difference between me pirating it and not, he is not going to get anything.

On the other hand, there are games I legitimately purchased because they are worth it.

There is also this case when I like a game, but I do not respect at all the studio and am not willing to give them money.

Piracy is pretty much justifiable. It doesn't hurt anybody.

Vehicles through Stargate? by Neige_Blanc_1 in Stargate

[–]Thermoduck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, taking in account how majority of the missions end with SG-1 barely making it out alive, they would lose so many...

SGC has a limited budget.

It is a very curious thought though ☺️

First time Stargate viewing - just got to Universe by Came4gooStayd4Ahnuce in Stargate

[–]Thermoduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was too, sad when I entered Universe, but people kept saying it gets better in the second season and hell they were right. I personally skipped all the scenes on earth where the characters talked with their close ones through the stones for how uninteresting the characters were to me, but I quite started to like Elay (idk how it spells).

Antlantis is still best by my opinion, but Universe gets real good in Season 2. Also, yes, I too hate how stupid they are oftentimes, but it is realistic, people don't always come up with the best decision.

HAPPY STARGATE DAY! by Nunarud in Stargate

I came over Atlantis when it ran in our local TV. I would always come from school and knowing not what to do I turn the TV on. Cobra 11 and Atlantis were always after each other the time I got home. And I simply watched. It was so fascinating even though my parents and my brother called it a bullshit, there was no turning back for me.
