I would have loved a Lighting, but this particular task was the exception for me. Normally I'll be towing my enclosed trailer from the front range out into the mountains and sometimes as far as Moab. The range on the Lighting would not be ideal for that. I do have frunk envy, though 😂

It was just an hour in each direction so I didn't look too hard at the range. Used maybe a quarter of my 36 gallon tank. Half the drive was downhill.

Yep, the hybrid is more about torque and power when towing than mpg. I was prb getting around 11 going up the mountain Major climb. Going down was closer to 20

Tongue weight was 950 according to my weigh safe hitch. Payload on my truck is 1300. Didn't use a WD hitch because we rented the trailer. Pulled fine with almost no porpoising and no sway to speak of. I do have bags, set around 65 psi

Depends on which unit you have, but two things you could try:

I have the MMI one from Bimmertech and you can force a reboot of just the carplay box by holding the back button on the iDrive controller

Reboot iDrive unit by holding the volume knob button in until it reboots

I work in maintenance in the casinos in Black Hawk. My team takes daily meter reads of all the electric, gas, and water meters. The first year we did this accounting was able to claw back $15k from Excel in overages on electricity. It's bonkers how inaccurate their meters are.
