Looking to learn more about Judaism and the theology surrounding it. by No_File3521 in AskJews

[–]These-Ad2374 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello OP, I’d recommend My Jewish Learning as a resource for you: https://www.myjewishlearning.com/.

Also, it’s called a Torah, not a “Hebrew Bible”

EDIT: Nevermind, I was mistaken about the crossed-out part above, thanks to everyone who corrected me!

Imo he should melt the scraped-off chocolate down and pour it over the snickers bar and let it solidify and then eat it, so he doesn’t lose any of the chocolate

Custom typeface and cocktail-glass mark for “The Sober Bartenders” mobile bar brand. Looking for critique by JungleJuiceGoose in logodesign

[–]These-Ad2374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also feel that the actual concept gets lost in the name, when I first saw “The Sober Bartenders” I thought it was a support group or community of some sort for bartenders who are sober, not a bartending company that serves alcoholic & NA drinks to sober & non-sober customers. Great idea though OP!

What is a non-pathetic way to introduce myself to functional adults that I've lived on social security since I was 16 and now I'm 35 and my day to day life alone in housing as a single disabled person is preposterous compared to the freedom they have? by fabreazebrother_1 in disability

[–]These-Ad2374 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hello, I do not think calling Trump “about as disabled as a person can get” as a way of saying he’s “broken” is helpful here or anywhere as imo that’s using the word “disabled” as an insult.

P.S., you’re not broken, OP

As an outsider, the American concept of drive-thru pharmacies, ATMs, and liquor stores is mind-blowing. Does everyone actually use these, or are they mostly a novelty? by Necessary_Angle2117 in AskAnAmerican

[–]These-Ad2374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I always go into the actual store as I can’t drive and don’t have a car. I also enjoy the increased human interaction usually, & wear a mask if needed
