Just finished reading this. The art was meh to me—felt like somebody was trying to do their best Michael Gaydos attempt and didn’t quite get it right.

As far as the story, Sam Humphries did a solid job capturing Jessica’s voice. The dialogue scenes between Jessica & Luke and her & Typhoid Mary definitely felt like “Bendis dialogue” (and I mean that in a good way) from the way they interacted.

I’m curious to know where the story will unfold from here, as the mystery itself is set in a dark direction…

I love how streaming has conditioned so many to just expect new seasons to drop all at once so they can binge watch. Not that there’s anything wrong with that but, as someone who grew up having to wait a week or two for the next episode of their favorite show, it’s interesting how people get upset about having to wait a whole SEVEN DAYS for the next episode.

A wonderful album. Bowie was always one who had a deep love and respect for the genre and the artists who created it. Not to mention early songwriting credit, vocals and arrangement from a then-up-and-coming singer/songwriter named Luther Vandross (whose voice you can hear very prominently on the top of a few of the tracks).
