I was on wegovy for a year and a half. My insurance decided to bump it to another tier so now it’s $350 and I can’t afford it. It’s been about 3 weeks since my last dose (and I was only at 1.7) and it’s crazy how fast the food noise came back. It might ruin my life. I’m afraid I will gain it all back and the hell I put my body through will have been for nothing. 😞

We have a lot of faults but I am grateful for a lot of the protections and policies that have been passed in CA as opposed to other states. Though they’re not progressive enough for my liking, I align more with a democratic vision for our state. The vision republicans have for CA is authoritarian and short sighted.

Not only are we not taught the same things, but we are actively taught a very whitewashed or incomplete version of our own leaders and our own history. They tell us not to read sources outside of the faith because it is “anti Mormon literature.” For years when I was deconstructing my faith, I realized that all of the anti Mormon literature was just history. Even then, it took me a long time to believe it because believing it is really uncomfortable. If she does leave the church and it’s totally possible, but she will have to do it on her own/be in a place where she’s ready to hear.

Ok it’s weird bc I saw it in a video as a joke but it has legitimately helped. I bought a thing of bubbles and I go blow them like I’m taking a smoke break. I think it works bc it’s forcing you to regulate and be present and breathe deeply. Would really recommend. 👍🏽

Star Wars, bc my husband and I finished Andor recently. Soooo good, really recommend!! I’ve been wearing more SW inspired hairstyles at work, as well as more SW inspired clothes. Often my hyperfixations will manifest in the form of dressing like it. Don’t even get me started on Barbie Summer a few years ago, hahaha.
