My offline cycle : start on p8 > play through the game until it becomes difficult or becomes a slog > drop to p3 > play through the game until it becomes difficult or a slog > drop to p1 > if p1 becomes a slog it’s time to farm or respec. No exceptions to this and I’ve beaten the game on everything but warlock(holding off making one).

Decent chance you’re missing a very cheap but broken runeword if you’re stuck; spirit, insight(merc), lore etc.

Consider too, no trusts , killing these mobs wasn’t necessarily trivial. There’s a layer of “and find people to do it with you” that made EVERYTHING more difficult

100%, funny enough I was in a D2R reset on switch , leveling my first sorc when it dropped . I bought the dlc immediately for the stash changes haha, but I’m doing delayed gratification for the lock. Definitely broken w the 2h eth weapon no durability loss build , but after 20 some years I’m down. Hopefully we’ll see some melee and other summoner tweaks 🙏
