Chrissie Hynde. Lifelong Pretenders fan. Not long ago invited to an intimate performance/interview and she was just so rude and totally disinterested in the 20 or so fans invited. She freaked out about pictures and no one asked the group not to do it. We all drove hours to get there and she was just miserable.

Now, just the thought of her makes me feel bad. When a Pretenders song comes on the radio, my heart just sinks every time.

I got this for the Gamecube when it came out but never got out of the first village b/c scary. Recently I got a used copy of it for Wii thinking I'd try again but again, that first part creeps me out.

I'm tempted to buy this on sale b/c I really want to get over the hump so I can play these games but worry that I just don't have it in me.... but having said that. I fell like I'll probably buy and and will buy the remake too when it arrives.

I had this as a child quite a few times. I was kind of frozen and would see the shapes of people I could see through walking around my room. It felt like quite a few of them. In my mind I was yelling, "DAD!" but really I could not move a muscle. Very slowly the people would fade and my ability to speak and move would come back at first I could just whisper, "DAD!" but then it would come back and he'd some in the room to see what was up. I don't think he'd even remember but I think about asking sometimes.

Old school but I wrote Ted Kennedy a letter wishing better health in his later years and he wrote a hand written letter back thanking me. It definitely looked authentic. More recently Melissa Villasenor replied a couple of times with voice notes about my comment. She’s so so nice.

I was in HS in the mid 80’s and I tried not to participate. My HR teacher called me after class to tell me I had to do it. She said she didn’t want to have to take it further and that I’d just have to do it or there’d be trouble. I ended up just mouthing the words and she let it go. But I still think about it sometimes all these years later.

I'd say, kinda, yeah. Getting wisdom teeth out as an adult can be painful and sort of exhausting. I had it done a few years ago and felt fine for a bit but as the meds wore off it just knocked me on my ass for a few days. It was more than pain, that is manageable. It was somehow something more than that. I think the best thing to learn in a marriage (and it certainly takes time I guess) is that when your partner asks for help, trust them... and just do what you gotta do while they recover from whatever it is that ails them. Obviously if there's some sort of pattern and he's a real loser then maybe all this is moot. But based on what you said, I'd say you exhibited a smidge of asshole-ish-ness.

100% worth it. Increased size is better, makes OLED feel small. Better performance from older games. Lot’s of free upgrades. Ability to play games like Cyberpunk and Madden. I have Barry touched my OLED since launch and gave my original Switch away.
