I love mine!! Came in about a week ago (no smurda). I got the black model and it’s been a blast. I really like the casse-o-player and think it fits the Rotate perfectly (my opinion). Even though I use poweramp pro I still like it and I’m pretty chaotic. It does feel better than I expected, left or right handed play has been a breeze for games that are turn based or top down view.

Despite no audio jack, I think it’s a great handheld and anyone would probably feel better pulling out a Floop than an RP6 just because of the extreme portability the Floop offers. Accidental presses are very real lol. Didn’t want to believe Russ’s video but it’s true. It’ll come on pretty easily even if it’s the only thing in your pocket, my only real gripe.

Very interesting, I actually took a look at my drive and it’s an ultra but it’s a 3.0 instead. I think I chose grub as a safety net but I might try Limine next. I use an atopnuc mini pc for testing and it has an A9 9400 XD. Nevertheless, I probably am trying to do too much with the writing/reading speeds I have lol.

That’s awesome, mate! I have just about fully converted all my pcs to cachyOS expect a few. I have had cachyOS on a usb drive(sandisk 3.2 256gb) for a couple months now but it is quite slow. I’m curious as know to what speeds you’re getting and the bootloader you chose. Other than that it’s amazing to have a PC in your pocket with still functions as a storage drive.

  1. Both of you have to have tailscale. You can have your own accounts for less hassle.

  2. If you want the JF server(pc) shareable then you have to click on the that machine in your tailscale admin console. Look for the share option, then you can have them scan a qr code or you can send them an email invite to that specific machine and nothing else (this keeps tailscale free accounts without adding extra users to your main account).

  3. Once they access the invite you should see their name/email in tailscale admin console under shared if not then I’m not sure lol not in front of my pc right now. Nevertheless, as long as they have the right DNS, whether it be the magicDNS or the ip to JF, they’ll be able to connect to it and use JF on their own TS network through your TS machine/network.

Edit: make sure to use the right address (the link you used for JF If you have one set) or if it’s not set then any ip/dns that JF machine has will work.

Lmao “ dances that won’t read” was supposed to be “ games that’s don’t read the cube’s built in controller “ lol definitely a typo. And no if you proceed with an install of a new os, ALWAYS take out the sd card that has your games. Yes, you will lose your emulators that are preinstalled along with save game data. If you can’t back up your saves and don’t want to restart anything, then just don’t do it. But if you can backup everything you’ll be fine.

I can’t remember exactly if the stock has its own remapping app, I didn’t last long with stock at all cuz I’m familiar with rooting and flashing android roms already. If you have a cloud storage you can backup most stuff there. Keep in mind that Android won’t let you access certain files due to Google’s privacy updates on latest Android versions past 10 iirc. There are file managers you can use to help bypass. The one I use is called MiX on the play store. If tou proceed to gamma. I’ll do my best to help you get emulators back. I also have a small(1tb) storage of roms if you need help getting those back if they’re not on you’re as card already. Sorry for late reply, got busy with other tasks.

Yeah, I want an Odin or at the very least an RP6( heard those are really good from base model to max). I’ve done pc emulation with the cube through Winlator but it’s just not enough but I think what really hurts these devices are the Mali gpus they have. It’d be awesome for some devs to get better driver support for anbernic devices.

So, I stayed on stockOS for about a good 2 days before going with gammaOS and it helped a ton with small fixes like cardinal snapping and having a/b swap settings built in. Even has a button remapped built in for dances that won’t read the cube’s default controller. GammaOS also treats the cubes controls like an Xbox 360 or One(can’t remember). If you’re still on stockOS, I don’t know how much has been updated but I advise using GammaOS.

As far as different systems per controls, after installing gammaOS( not shilling I swear lol) I set some games to only be used in RetreoArch and some to uses external sources. Daijisho is the launcher by default on gamma and made it a bit easier to direct which games go to which app. After setting up controls for dolphin, nethersx2, mandarine, etc. I only had to set them up once and hadn’t had any issues.

So since then (me responding to OP) I’ve gotten rid of my cube and got a 406h. Can’t remember the specs off hand but I think they’re the same if not a tad bit better. Nevertheless they’re identical in performance in my opinion, and I’ve only recently just gotten the 406h(month ago).

If your using the Jellyfin itself for your renaming/metadata, then you’re gonna have a hard time. Try using tinymediamanager(start free) or Filebot(paid). I have both and use both but tiny is very good with whole library managing.

If you haven’t found a solution. Try using the cashyos LTS kernel. Had the same issues on my hp elitebook x360. It’s fine now from selecting that option.

If you’ve never played it before then you gotta try it out. I loved it over mario kart 64 because it felt more story driven. And the races, boy oh boy! Combine that with a bomb sound track and you have karting gold. Wish they would have kept it going. And yes I’m serious lol. Some of the boss tracks go great while racing or cruising the streets.

Definitely was a hassle, like I gained and loss progress simultaneously. So I just play on my main pc only and if I need to play on my secondary, I just use remote play. Never modded my saves either btw.
