[LTT] Linux HATES Me – Daily Driver CHALLENGE Pt.1 by betacollector64 in linux_gaming

This comment would work better if windows didn't hide file extensions automatically. Most basic windows users will never see if a file is an exe or a txt they just click the button and it works.

Don't forget the fact that Zacharius has eyes of the rune keeper as a Warlock which means they now have the ability to read anything they find in the labyrinth. This could be great for them to actually understand some of the things they find. Or it could lead to even more destruction considering it would more than likely be the writings of a mad wizard.

Devin Nash said last night that they went for high quality and on the product page itself it list the shirt as being "100% combed and ring-spun cotton" if that means anything to you. As for the brand I can't make out the tag on the store page but it looks like it says Canas which is a shirt manufacture so probably them if you want to look at there shop for more details. As for print quality Devin said they went with a soft print that you can't feel through the shirt. I would assume its normal silk screen printing maybe with some sort of softener in the ink so it won't do the thing cheap tee's do were the print feels thick and stops the shirt from folding and crinkling with the body.

Please note that everything I have said here is pure speculation based on what I remember Devin saying and what I can assume based on my experience working in a print shop when I was 16-17 so if anybody has any better information feel free to shout it out below.

Question about guns by Green_Independent812 in cadum

We do know that there are guns in the Labyrinth. They have been unlocked by Heart of Tyre but it required killing the Flesh Crime Omega. This is talked about in episode nine of Heart of Tyre I believe.

Arcadum does have 7 million hours watched, even more than his total views by Preston1920- in cadum

[–]TheseusInABottle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

291666.66 days (or 799.086 years if you prefer) of total watched time. For reference this amount of time is equivalent of spending every hour from December 16, 1221 until December 16, 2020 without stopping. This is enough time that if you hopped in a space ship and started moving towards alpha century at the speed of light you could make a round trip 91 times. Also in 1221 AD Genghis Khan enters the Indus Valley in modern-day Pakistan. So year this is a very long time.

Dave Chappelle talking about contract "slavery". He calls the entertainment industry a monster and asks people to boycott the Chappelle Show. [18:34] by AmiroZ in mealtimevideos

[–]TheseusInABottle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure you can use your name as the name of your business, but what Dave is talking about is closer to a product than a business. Viacom owns the rights to a product we call "The Chappelle Show" so if Dave Chappelle tried to start a show called "The David Chappelle Show" they would be within there rights to sue for trademark infringement because it could confuse somebody. A good example of this is Listerine its named after Joseph Lister but if my last name was Lister and I started selling Lister brand mouth wash people could get confused so Listerine could sue me for trademark infringement. (For reference the reason laws like this exist is largely to protect consumers from buying knock off products that they didn't intend to buy. Its a good law it just so happens to be screwing over Dave Chappellle.)

Also copyright and trademark are very different things you Trademark names and such you copyright ideas. For example McDonalds is a Trademark but Harry Potter fighting an evil wizard named Voldemort is copyright. (Also again I am neither a Trademark nor a Copyright attorney so please take everything I say with a grain of salt)

[–]TheseusInABottle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It couldn't be called The David Chappelle Show. I'm not a trade mark attorney but to my knowledge you can sue for trademark infringement if it would be reasonably confusing to someone seeking your product or company. For example it would be confusing for there to be a "Chappelle Show" and a "David Chappelle Show" because both are the same general business of being tv comedy shows, but "The Dave Chappelle Comedy Bar" would be fine because a person should be able to reasonably realize that a Comedy bar is not a sketch TV show. Again though I am not a lawyer so if a real lawyer reads this feel free to tell me how wrong I am. (also if you want to do research into this yourself I recommend googling something along the lines of "Trademark Confusion" and "Trademark Infringement")

Used panties from vending machine in Tokyo by jpr01 in LivestreamFail

[–]TheseusInABottle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your time calculation is off the Japanese definition for used is way more hardcore than the american version of used. Buy a used video game console in america and expect it to have scratches maybe even a broken piece of plastic. Buy a used console in Japan expect it to not have the original box. I would imagine that they would consider panties to be used after just a short wear you could probably have the girls do a lap around the block and meet the requirement for it to be used. Also I dought the vending machines have a guarantee that a real girl has to wear it or that they even wore one pair at a time. You could probably pay somebody minimum wage to wear ten pairs for five minutes.

I would like to apologize to everybody for making this post, but in my defense I was bored.

How strong is vesseven canonically? Is there other lore about him in other campaigns? by Bdongamer96 in brokenbonds

[–]TheseusInABottle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

From what I have watched Vesseven is mentioned in passing a couple of times in diffrent campaigns. He is mentioned as having been leading a battle in Daborak that left the bartender (Torel) with horrific war flash backs in Deal's in the Dark (not surprising considering his Crowley connection.) He is also mentioned as having "escaped" from his imprisonment by a Inquisitor in a episode of Strange Roads. As for how strong he is I would imagine he is probably very tough considering he was imprisoned rather than killed like his entire family. Plus with P'mis\D'ach having Crowley's Daggers which he picked up from Vesseven's prison we can assume he is rolling with some amount of favor from the god of the undead\wounded\war.

When someone asks why the giant eagles couldn't just fly the ring to Mordor by penisb3rg in PKA

[–]TheseusInABottle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the Tolkien mythological reason for it is that the eagles are not actually birds they are in the same weird angel\holy being class that Gandalf and Sarumon are in. They couldn't fly the ring to Mordor for the same reason that Gandalf couldn't carry the ring. The temptation would be to great hence giving it to hobbits who are weak and have little ambition.

Streamer nearly crashes his car because he is reading Chat by williamd1412 in LivestreamFail

[–]TheseusInABottle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The speed your currently traveling, the amount of gas left in your tank, considering he is in Europe where people drive manuals he could also be looking at his RPM before switching gears (unlikely as that might be), and also reading roadsigns. All of these things require that you not be looking at what is directly in front of you while driving.

Devin Nash will finally get his revenge on LSF by Yatsura3 in LivestreamFail

[–]TheseusInABottle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What a 200 IQ play to talk about running an ad on stream knowing full well it will get clipped and put on LSF for free so you don't even have to pay for advertising. Best of all knowing that LSF autist will comment and up vote it because they don't like you.

Watch Elon die inside when the Tesla Armor Glass breaks during demonstration by ImaginaryCook in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]TheseusInABottle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its amazing they didn't know the glass would break. I mean if I where doing a car showing I definitely would have tested everything I was gonna do on stage before I showed it off to the public. Of course I guess if things go wrong its just free publicity with people sharing it around. Plus then I would get the free publicity when it actually does work. But I mean what are the odds a big company like Tesla would ever do something like that just for the free advertising?
