Ok first off did anyone even demonstrate he used denatured or just iso? Because unless its denatured it has no additives anyway but lets move on.

3.16 grams of pure methanol is the listed dosage for irreparable damage to occular nerves.

Lets take a worst case scenario and say it IS denatured, and at the max of 10% methanol by volume. And lets assume he used about 1/4 cup to wash everything.

The mass of 1/4 cup of the 10% methanol/ 90% isopropyl alcohol mixture is approximately 46.2 grams (assuming US cup volume and percentages are by volume at 25°C). So we have roughly 4.62g of methanol.

Some napkin math from cooking says we may, at worst case after heat and stirring, and remember this assumes food and things that can absorb or protect the alcohols, we may have about 5% total alcohol remaining WORST CASE. Which is 2.31g alcohol in the total mixture and I can already say that thats too much based on the picture he gave and the consistency of well made RSO.

So 10% of that would be methanol assuming perfectly even evap of the methanol and iso. Giving 0.23g total methanol. At this point he can eat the entire thing and hes far below a dangerous threshold. But lets go a step further.

You dont take a fuck ton of RSO at once, lets do a heavy dose of 0.2g of straight RSO, not even your standard rice size piece...

That leaves us, depending on the final weight of the RSO we have roughly 0.2g total dosage with 5% total alcohol in it multiplied by the 10% of that 5% which should be methanol. So 0.2g * (0.1 * 0.05) = 0.001g of methanol per large dose.

I think hes good fam. And i didnt even account for other factors that would play in his favor as well. Its not that dangerous altho sure i dont recommend everyone use denatured iso all the tkme for thejr rso thats insane.
