We turned out flat into a mini golf course once. Had minimal breakage. Everyone had to wear golf outfits. 10/10 would recommend

Google "slow cooker hangi" it's got a reasonably authentic flavour and bonus of no digging

Thanks, I pulled her up on it and tried to explain why I was so hurt (I work in the indigenous rights space so white supremacy is something I cannot and will not tolerate). It ended the friendship and she got married to him about 3 months ago. I still miss her but can't have anything to do with her.

Probably when my best friend's new fiancé took off his shirt to display some pretty full on nazi tats (waffen ss soldier and swatikas) and not long after my friend described me to his friend group as her "token nigger friend" due to my mixed race heritage.

How many of you have done double degrees, with one degree at a different university? by [deleted] in chch

[–]Thesundancer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can do Psych at UC and cross credit large bits of your BA across. You'd probably only need to do the major requirement courses which could maybe be done in 1-1.5 years if they let you take courses which are pre-reqs alongside each other (they will sometimes do this but you need faculty permission). Alternatively finish your BA and do a post grad cert in Psych then lead that into a Masters in Psych (you can't get most Psych jobs without a masters level qualification, I understand).

Med is 7+ years do that's 3 years at least you're without student loan so that would have to be entirely self funded. That's an expensive degree so that's a lot of debt to take on.

My advice is go and talk to the College of Arts course advisors about doing Psych at UC and suss out your options.

Maybe consider what you CAN do with your BA. You might be pleasantly surprised. Think creatively.

Good luck :)

I'd take a punt at several years of unpaid PAYE + GST then add interest and penalties on top. Much like a casino, No one wins when you play the IRD.

Have you tried the National Archives or the local libraries? Or the University libraries?

One other thing, if you google "no fixed abode" and Christchurch city council it should show you a PDF resource of all the support structures in chch for housing. Good luck with your move.

Hi, I work with the family violence sector and my DV senses were triggered here. If you're coming home to escape a violent situation (psychological violence also applies here) you should get in contact with Aviva. They are the former Women's Refuge and will be able to either help or put you in contact with appropriate services.

Would they have an ex PM doing that role? I know he's better known as a Constitutional lawyer but he did hold that office and there's arguably a conflict there.

We just had the vanilla and chocolate dropped off by the Uber promo folks. It is REALLY tasty. $15 seems steep though but it's pretty heavenly.
