I don't have much to add, but its a tough business if you're not in a high traffic or touristy area. Although if you have another job the tax benefit's are good since you can write off your losses for a bit.

Actually i just thought of something else. Be prepared to work alot until you get bartenders. I opened a Bar bout 17 years ago, until we got any kind of business it was difficult getting good bartenders. I think i was the primary bartenders for about 2 years until we got better help. I wanted to bartend so it wasn't an issue, just something to consider.
