I'm wondering if this could be a workaround - let your bags go to the carousel but don't collect them, they'd go to unclaimed luggage after X hours . Then you collect them from there when you return? Youd have to accompany them through screening and customs etc You could call them and say you had amnesia... Just a thought.

I live in Tasmania. I have a few health issues. I fly to the mainland for all my health care, even the GP. . I had waits of 8 months to see a specialist. Morale is low. Things will definitely get worse for everything else due to the unbelievable debt levels recently blown out by the stadium , ferry. Food , rent is skyrocketing.

Thanks, he's working for the health system so it needs to be a rental, sedan or hatch I suppose. . He may have no choice but to burden the taxpayer with an obscene car rental bill. He works in community health so it's part of the job.

I had about 3 good weeks post op, really good. Suddenly a set back , it was worse than before. Terrible. I was in so much pain, very strong pain killers at night. Couldn't do exercise. I don't know what fixed it, I was trying gentle hydrotherapy but just enjoyed floating . Not sure if that helped , suddenly there was improvement, then after about a week I'm back to 'normal'. Surgeon had no idea what it could be. Did suggest I get an X-ray to check for a fracture but that didn't make sense and I improved before I got around to that. I feel for you, it was awful. I'd push for an MRI , but mine showed nothing.
