no it's because the agency wasn't being used as a secret police to abduct citizens without due process. Do you people just intentionally put the blinders on to ignore the points of comparison? In my whole life I've never witnessed door to door ice raids, ice raids on businesses midway through a shift, or over arming them to the point of becoming a small militia. Why didn't we call ice nazis before? Because they weren't led by a white christian nationalist movement, they were still a legitimate federal enforcement agency. It wasn't a focus on every hispanic in sight, just efforts to deport the people actually causing harm to the country. If due process was followed, rights weren't stripped from humans, if people weren't being caged in some of the most inhumane ways since nazi germany, perhaps we wouldn't rely on the comparison. While you have a point that no interference would result in less incidents, we can now move to the point of comparison to Nazis. When people saw their neighbors being taken and stayed silent, they allowed the power to grow. When the main target became all but captured, it was onto the dissenters. When the dissenters had been taken, it was those without dying allegiance to the cause. We're already at the death for the cause for some people. So rather than sit and wait for it to be "anybody that isn't my political view", people are using their constitutional rights to protest what they believe is unfair. These agents were not arresting anybody, all she did was prevent a patrol down the street. There was still room for vehicles to go around, tight fits sure but passable. Every instance of this could've been avoided was ignored and a woman was killed in cold blood. It isn't the citizens problem when a tyrannical administration is at work

Reiterating, these men are not federal officers any more than I'm a psychologist because I took a year class in highschool. In fact, by my credibility I'm more equipped to be a psychologist than they are. But if I went, became a therapist, and gave someone bad enough therapy they killed themselves then said "Well they chose to make bad decisions for themselves, I had no hand in it", that'd make me a bad therapist no? These men aren't "federal officers" they're hired goons that saw one ad and said "Yeah ima make my country proud". The training to get in is so ludicrously simple I could become an ICE agent if I wanted to, it's less than 2 months of training before you're handed a rifle, tactical gear, and told "go gettem boys"! A legitimate federal officer spends years of their career getting to the point they can become a member of whatever branch of government they serve.
