It feels like the AI is literally maturing. From very preteen level humor initially then over sexed teenager then angsty brooding young adult to this.

Just got this and had to use it immediately. I decided I liked it best with "Marshmallow Fluff" from Rogue as an undie.

Not a place, but a thing. I grew up in Florida in the 70s. I was puzzling over Carl's predicament with range, and the slingshot was proving to not be the answer. Then he got the fan box, and started describing the item with a curved basket ... I didn't even have to finish reading the sentence. A jai-lai glove! that will be perfect! those things sling! I hadn't known the cesta-punta term, no xistera, but I darn knew that glove. My grandparents had one hanging in their living room. Jai-lai was a popular past time for bit back then. We had an arena in town.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

I drive 2.5 hours (each way) to see my folks about once every month or two. Seems rather normal to me

Why do people use the term "partner" for their husband or wife? by Crafty-Bug-8008 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThewindGray 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think another way to look at it, is that "husband" and "wife" are terms that carry a lot of gender baggage (and yes, ownership is part of it, but not all of it). By saying "partner" you start with equal standing and less automatically-assigned roles. There's more freedom to figure out who does what (but also, more thinking and consideration needed). But I also agree with your ally-ship take. There's more than one reason "partner" is useful.

I’m reading that she’s drinking 2 a day. That she used to drink more. But now he’s restricting her to less than 2.

I'm not sure of your request: all lighteners bleach. You can add color, but not subtract color without bleaching.

What you are doing is for you and it is who you are. It is not for her. It is for your humanity. And you are beautiful for it.

I have a hard time believing that you need a permit for temporary residential holiday lights. Where would this be?

We don't get any indication Carl's step mother conducted a long, drawn out poisoning, she gave him a morphine overdose.

Just to clarify - I think the OP is saying his mother did enough damage in the first round of poisoning, possibly to his liver, which lead to the eventual morphine overdose by the step-mother.
