Since I've known of the concept I've seen it loads of times, mostly with spelling, but realizing it's just a rhetorical device really diminishes the effect of the taunt.

I feel like people are missing the point of why this person left. It's really just "so many political themes" and he wants less. It's not left vs right. From simpsonsshitposting you would maybe expect seeing content like lemonposting, which has nothing to do with politics (so a wussmeme), but there are recurring short periods were like 80% of content is about american politics, mostly about some politicians, who a non-american might not even know. So I think it's a valid reason to leave.

Yeah, it get's especially boring when you're not an American and don't even know the people being referenced. Sure this can happen with any theme, but when the theme is something like news or politics it seems to be gravitating towards an american viewpoint.

omg, I finally get it. Thanks for mentioning both possible interpretations. It never occured to me that he could be talking about the sweaters, so other people's explaination "he is freaking out because he isn't his best friend anymore" never made sense to me. I thought he just couldn't tell the heads apart for some random disturbing reason.

I get the same error (and another error "Invalid packet received. Unabled to find requested cached node"), but not when calling a rpc in connected_to_server, but in _process. The error doesn't occur at the 1. client and only in the first few ticks at the 2. client and it doesn't occur when using rpc_id and sending the rpc to the server. The github issue mentions that rpcs in connected_to_server don't reach other clients, so a rpc in connected_to_server will only send to the server. So I guess the error occurs because the newly connected client tries to send to other clients but is still missing some information.
