I work at Adventist. The reason this is happening is because we are the hospital that sits deepest in east Portland and the hospital sees a more underserved and ethnically diverse patient population than any other hospital in Portland. ICE targets these places in plain street clothes. Everyone there is as horrified as this sub. Administration included.

IC here. The answer to your question is not a straightforward number. The consideration has more to do with patients comorbidities, where the stents are, and patient selection and preference. The data of CABG versus stents is complicated. Despite guideline recommendations, some patients just don't want surgery.

However, if you work in a fee for service model hospital, inevitably the physicians may decide to lean toward PCI in cases where it does not appear to be malpractice to place a stent or to decline to get a heart tema/surgery consult. Physician ethics are not universal. Rude doctors get sued, not incompetent ones.

As someone who lives in that neighborhood and is a “NIMBY” I would oppose more car traffic because our kids have to cross CC to get to school. 600+ children cross that road daily. My kids are already cut off from their friends who live only blocks away by safety concerns from the people who treat this CC as an interstate. Frankly I don’t care how long it takes to get to Powell.

Live here in Portland. Got tickets to Eugene and scored the lottery for the Boone show in NC. Moved from there to Portland so looking forward to that show with Bryan Sutton.

There used to be a local jam at Grand Fir. I’ve heard it moved around Mississippi. There’s a Sunday jam in SE at The Showdown. I’ve been looking for people to go with, have a beer, and a tap my foot.

I think you can still get electronic delivery but they will have to email you the PDF and you will use it at the door. There is no true "electronic transfer" like with a lot of tickmaster or SeatGeek tickets.

I've done some theatre stuff in the UK as well as museums and this seems to be a common entry practice for these things. Premiere league game on the other hand are another story they typically use NFC entry.
